It was already nine o'clock in the evening. The usually quiet village of Anggrek is now noisy due to two guests in their town. Who else if not Feby and Sandi will be forced to get married right now?

“You can't take the law into your own hands. This country has laws.”

Sandi was still adamant. She breathed a sigh of relief as soon as the call over the air was connected to someone. The man then briefly explained the disaster that had befallen him this afternoon.

“Huu!!! You're a bad guy, you want to enjoy yourself,” sneered the young girl who was there.

“That's it! Let him call his friend here,” the traditional leader intervened.

Soon the person Sandi was waiting for appeared. He immediately explained his intentions and purpose clearly. I don't know what was discussed. All that was seen were shakes and nods of the head.

“How?

“Why, are you going to reject me?” Feby shook her head slowly. Her face slowly turned pale as she watched Sandi begin to undress. She knew exactly what her husband wanted to do.“I-I'm going to the bathroom first,” Feby said rather stammeringly. She took a sitting position and prepared to leave.“Don't be long,” Sandi muttered later. This was where Feby was now. After locking herself in the bathroom, she sucked in as much air as she could. Trying to get rid of the nervousness that was, unfortunately, getting the better of her once she realized that she would be fulfilling her duties as a wife. I don't know how long Feby was in there until Sandi knocked impatiently on the door. Her

“Wait!” shrieked Feby with her breath catching. Unfortunately, Sandi didn't care. The tall, well-built man even accelerated his pace until he arrived at the airport parking lot. Making Feby again spend extra energy to balance herself with him.“Don't ever use that disgusting nickname on me,” Sandi said as they resumed their journey.“What should I call you?” asked Feby later.Sandi only responded with a shrug of her shoulders. “I don't want anyone to know that we are husband and wife. Understand?” Feby nodded in agreement. Trying to understand that Sandi never wanted to be her husband. Again she felt dejavu considering that the first marriage was similar to the current one. After all, it was just a matter of getting used to being a wife who was not considered, right? That's what was going through her mind right now. Is she not hurt? I don't know. Feby even forgot the last time she had ever lived in peace since living a married life about seven

The sound of the spatula clashing with the cauldron was still ringing in my ears from five minutes ago. It was Sandi who was struggling with the kitchen cancellation. While Feby remained in place with high curiosity. Until a few moments later the aroma began to stir the contents of the stomach. Even the noise slowly stopped. Then Sandi turned around with a perfect smile. Now her hand was holding a plate of scrambled eggs.“Oh my!” Sandi chuckled her eyes starting to bulge. “So you've been watching me all this time?”Instantly Feby misbehaved. “Sorry. What else should I do?”“What else did you say? You didn't even do anything useful. You bastard!” Sandi continued to ran

“Never mind. It's not important.” Sandi gave Rania a brief smile. A second later she looked at Feby. Observing what the woman was doing.“Sorry, Uncle. I haven't asked you what you want for breakfast this morning,” Feby said in a low voice.Sandi chuckled in annoyance and then said, “Don't ask again. Cook what you can. It's useless for me to give orders. You almost poisoned me last night.”“Eh? What does that mean?” asked Rania, who did not understand her father's sentence.“It's a long story, dear. The point is that he asked me for a job. That's why he got here. It turns out he's useless.”“Sorry,” squeaked Feby who finally bowed her head.Rania let out a long sigh. “You said Feby could be my friend, right? So there's no problem. Sandi didn't feel the need to think twice about admitting Feby's true status in front of Rania. After all, soon their forced relationship would end. That's what she thought at the moment.“A lot of people who are helped go rogue, sweetheart,” Sandi muttered later.Rania then chuckled softly. “Since when do you think negatively? Come on, Dad. I don't have any friends. Hmmm... or should I just pay for Feby's course?”“Honey?” The debate kept Feby silent for a long time. Until Sandi's sharp glance made her gasp in seconds.“I don't want any courses, Ran. I told you we're different, didn't I? You still have a long future ahead of you, and I'm already a widow. I have two children too,” Feby finally said.&nbs

"So you still let him go?” Sandi responded to the question with a mere chuckle. Feeling lazy to deal with her friend's snickering after hearing the story earlier.“Don't be like that, Wan. You should understand how much Sandi loves Bella. So she needs time to accept her new wife,” said the other friend.“If it's a matter of the heart, it's different again, Bro. It's about biological satisfaction. Sandi's the stupid one.”“Are you satisfied with calling me names?” Sandi spoke up after a long silence. “You'll never understand my position, Wan.”“Yes, but if I were you it would be different. Your new wife is still fresh and pretty. I'll take advantage of it. It's already legal.”“Already. I told her to clean the house. Help Rania too, who was mentally affected by her asshole boyfriend. In return I'll also help her take her children from Ares,” Sandi said later. The two friends turned to each other. Then grimaced as they locked eyes with Sandi again.“Whatever

“Yes, Uncle. Let me introduce you. This is my friend, Feby.” The two men who listened to Rania's explanation then nodded with a smile. Sandi, meanwhile, kept her indifferent face.“She's beautiful, Ran,” Wawan said later. He then smiled wryly at Sandi and said softly, “She'd be a good match for your father's wife.”“What, Uncle?” Rania, who didn't hear the sentence clearly, frowned. She looked at Wawan to repeat what he had said. However, her father's friend only chuckled faintly.“Don't listen, dear. This your ugly uncle of yours sometimes likes to babble,” Sandi muttered quickly.“Hmm... wait a moment. We'll be here with your order as well.”

Our feelings are unrequited. Am I right?”Feby's words pierced Sandi's heart like a sharp knife. Both of them were trapped in a situation filled with regret and complicated love. They both knew that there were no easy answers. That morning, sunlight came through the gap in the curtains. Illuminating Bella who still lay limply on the bed. I wouldn't be able to get through all this without your support.”Sandi who sat next to Feby put her arm around his shoulder. “That's right. We've become a great team.”That night, under the star-studded sky, Feby felt a peace that she had never felt before. All the conflicts that had plagued her life were over. Bella had apologized, and they had reconciled. While Ares, her ex-husband had disappeared from their lives after being involved in a major corruption case, Feby felt strong enough to raise Haikal and Kayla without Ares' help. Now, there is only love and happiness in their home.

Three months later... Feby stood in front of the mirror, wearing a simple yet elegant dress. The sparkling dress reflected the soft light from the window, giving the impression that today was a special day. Although today was not a big day for her, Feby still felt a deep sense of happiness. Rania's marriage stepdaughter, who was like her own biological daughter-had made all the tension that used to surround them turn into tranquility.“Before, it seemed like all the problems were endless,” Feby murmured with a small smile to herself. The dress was perfect, and everything was ready for today's celebration.Feby gasped when she heard footsteps approaching from behind. It was Sandi, her husband. “Are you ready, darling?” she asked softly, standing in the doorway.Feby turned and smiled, looking at Sandi who looked dashing in her suit. “Ready, but I'm

“SURPRISE!!!”Feby was stunned. In front of her stood Sukma and Zaki, younger siblings whom she had not seen for a long time. Sukma, who is now busy with her work as a civil worker, and Zaki, the last time she heard back from overseas, seemed to be carrying a pile of gifts in their hands. However, what made Feby even more surprised was the two little boys who ran up to him with joyful laughter. Who else if not Haikal and Kayla, her children who have been living with Ares, her ex-husband?“Mama!” squealed Haikal. Their laughter echoed, and instantly Feby's heart melted along with the clear water that pooled in her eyes.Feby smiled fondly, her eyes beginning to heat up with unstoppable tears. “You guys... are you all here?”Sukma nodded, patting her sister's shoulder. “Of course, Sis. Their eyes were locked, and she knew Sandi was waiting for her. Waiting for something more than words. Feelings were mixed, between awkwardness, hesitation, and the desire to surrender to this moment.Gently, Sandi rubbed Feby's cheek with her thumb. You know I love you very much, but why did you hide this from me?”Feby swallowed. She knew this would not be an easy conversation. “Rania, I know this is very hard for you. And I... I'm sorry if I made you feel betrayed. Believe in me, I never intended to hurt your feelings. Her tears began to flow, but there was no sign of them stopping. “You're all lying! You said we could be a family again, but you married someone else behind my back! Any words were unlikely to be enough to ease Rania's current anger.“Rania, it's not what you think,” Sandi tried to explain, though she knew it wouldn't be easy. “Your mother and father have been separated for a long time, and I remarried because I loved Feby.
