Instead of waking up in my castle, I opened my eyes to the ocean view of the ancestral world. The scared feeling was gone and my body buzzed with energy. I had no idea what Queen Ophelia did to me but it had my heart pumping faster than normal. I was too excited. With our limited manpower, we were able to hold off the attackers from exiting the beach. I knew my guards were skilled but no way in hell did I realize they were this amazing. It like playing a freaking video game. Everyone was in tune with each other. Martin spat orders and everyone followed. Martin's older brother Terranean was a cool guy. He was way too chill towards the circumstances we were in. I would be lying if I said his behavior did not have me being a little relaxed. Little by little the atmosphere started to feel less calm and more chaotic. The enemy has retreated to the other side of the beach. Still, the air was filled with tension as we all waited for what was next to come. The cool breeze turned into a hostile wind, whipping the trees from left to right. Black clouds covered the sky. The sea was anything but calm.It had begun. Without being there, I could tell by the behavior of the ocean. It was excited, crashing waves as high as a hill into each other. A new Queen was being chosen. That was enough to be excited about. The only sad part of this ceremony was that the previous Queen would die. I wanted to speak with her one last time. Everyone knew her as the 'wicked Queen' and maybe she was. She did send her child away to be alone forever. But, I saw her as a lonely mermaid, who was afraid. If only we had time, maybe she would have forgiven Craig for leaving her and she would bring him back. We could have worked as a family. One
