“Shit, why aren’t you picking up?” I mumbled as I ended the call.

Ilang beses na akong tumatawag rito ngunit hindi niya sinasagot. Nasa gitna ako ng traffic na kung saan nagdesisyon ako na pumunta sa bahay nina Emy.

Since it was Saturday, I have nothing else to do at the condo where we're staying to the point it got me bored. So the timing was definitely perfect.

As I drive, may nadaanan akong isang bakeshop on which na naisipan ko itong bilhan ng kanyang paboritong crinkles and brownies para naman matuwa ito.

The traffic wasn't heavy like it used to, maybe because it was weekends kaya binilisan ko ang pagpapatakbo ng kotse upang makarating agad roon.
