All through the journey home, I couldn’t focus on myself.

My eyes remain fixed on her. How could a woman have everything? Beauty, brain–and now she’s my wife?

I wanted to claim her so badly, but I couldn’t. She seems so worried, and I don’t think this was the right time to do it.

But with her standing right here in front of me, naked and naive, I can no longer be the gentle man I had promised myself to be tonight.

I wanted her so badly, and it seems that the maid or whoever had done this whole arrangement didn’t make a mistake.

It was the perfect way to seduce a woman.

I might be innocent in terms of having sex with a woman, but I was sure to have watched some pornography on how to make a woman beg for more.

And tonight, I won’t only make her beg me for more, but also tease her so much that she’ll scream my name.

“Aww, Alexander,” She gasped as I yanked the wedding gown off her, claiming her nipples with my lips, adding a tiny little teasing bite on it as I watched her nipple stand

"You Gold digging low life! Are you still sleeping at this time of day?" Mrs Carter's voice boomed in my ears as she whipped off the little blanket that barely covered my body.Sitting up in a sleepy mood, I rubbed my eyes with my palm before opening them to take in her furious face, the wrinkled arch on her forehead very visible. "Good morning, Mother." I greeted politely disregarding her initial insult"I am not your mother, you silly girl. Will you not go to work? Or are you waiting for my Son to provide for your lazy ass?" she asked folding her arms beneath her breasts"I won't be going to work today; tomorrow's Valentine's Day ma Ethan and I have plans," I said letting a small smile creep up my face at the thought of spending tomorrow with the love of my life, but the thought was cut short by a croaked laughter "You think my son will spend his hard-earned money on you all for Valentine's Day? You must be delusional" I smiled and then said, "Mother, is there something you would

"How did I not see the warning signs?" I yelled as soon as the elevator closed."I gave him three years of devotion, left the comforts of my father's mansion just to stay with him, hoping he'd see me for who I am, but all along he just saw me as a burden!" my vision blurred with unshed tears. My heart pounds in my chest, a mixture of anger, betrayal, and humiliation boiling inside me.I don’t know where I’m going, only that I need to escape before I completely break down.Immediately, the elevator came to a halt and opened up; I took to my heels again. Then, suddenly, I slam into someone.A firm and solid force. Before I could fall back, I felt large hands catch my arms, steadying me before I could stumble backward. A sharp scent of expensive cologne fills my senses, and when I look up, I find myself staring into cool, unreadable gray eyes. The man before me was tall and intimidating. His tailored suit hugged perfectly to his powerful frame. His face is a masterpiece of sharp lines a

I had wanted to leave my thing here and move on, but a small part of me wanted to hear what he had to say for himself. The house I once thought was home stood before me, its walls holding memories I wished I could forget. The driveway was the same, the porch light flickering like it always did, but everything felt different... colder, emptier.Alexander's Porsche came to a smooth stop, the bare hum of the engine fading into the quiet street. I gripped the hem of my dress, my fingers twisting the fabric as if holding on to something real... something that wouldn’t betray me.“You don’t have to do this,” Alexander’s voice cut through the silence, calm and unreadable.I turned to look at him. His hands rested casually on the wheel, his sharp features unreadable in the dim glow of the streetlights. He didn’t seem like the kind of man who concerned himself with other people’s affairs. So why did he care now?“Yes, I do,” I said, forcing my voice to stay steady. He didn’t argue, just nodded

My ride back home was intensely quiet, the only sound steady in the background was the low hum of the car engine. The city lights flickered past the tinted windows, but I barely noticed them. My mind was occupied, fixated on the woman I had just agreed to marry.Sophia Thomas. She wasn’t what I had expected. Most women would have been flustered, overwhelmed, and maybe even grateful. But she? She had been composed... too composed. Something was unsettling about how easily she accepted everything, how little resistance she gave. It didn’t sit right with me.I thought she had made the proposal as a bid for revenge and she would come to her senses and call it off later on, but she stuck it out, up until my proposalI let out a slow breath, turning my gaze toward Marcus, my driver and longtime friend. “Marcus, What do you think of her?”Marcus glanced at me through the rearview mirror, arching a brow. “Who? Sophia?”“Who else?”He shrugged, a small smirk playing on his lips. “I think she's

The mirror didn’t lie.I stared at my reflection, watching as the woman I once was disappeared before my eyes. The emerald dress clung to me, a perfect fit, accentuating every curve with an elegance that demanded attention. A masterpiece of silk and temptation, whispering promises of power and vengeance. My fingers trembled slightly as I fastened the pearl necklace around my throat, but I steadied myself. There was no room for weakness tonight.Tonight, I was two people.Sophia Reid, Alexander Reid’s poised, devoted wife.Sophia Lancaster, the heiress to the Lancaster Group of CompaniesA knock at the door pulled me back to reality. Uncle Bruce stepped in, his expression tight with concern.“The second outfit is ready,” he murmured. “It’s in the locked restroom stall, just as planned.”I exhaled slowly. “Good.”His hesitation was brief but noticeable. “Are you sure about this, Sophia?”There it was again, that flicker of doubt. It was always there, lingering in his eyes every time I s

“Sophia, are you okay?” Alex kept knocking on the door.My breaths came in raspy as I tried not to puke on my expensive attire.“Sophia!” he called out again. But this time, he had hit the bathroom door harder. At first, I felt a bit dizzy, but then I finally got a bit of stability.I had let Ethan’s behavior get to me over the past few days. Even when I tried so hard not to think about it, his thoughts still came to mind. Sometimes I find myself wanting to tear up, but I know that I deserve better.Sending him out tonight wasn’t something I planned on doing, but I couldn’t help it. The fact that they felt so pompous about it wasn’t something I felt satisfied with. Ethan hasn’t seemed to learn his lesson yet. Right now, I have no idea what exactly is happening to me. I fanned myself with my bare hands, staring at the mirror fixed to the wall.“Sophia, daddy’s here.” My father’s voice resounded from the other side.Just as I heard his voice, I knew I had to speak. I couldn’t help but do some research about the woman who had proposed marriage to me herself. I’ve never seen any woman as confident as she was. Every woman I’ve ever come across was either after my money or my looks. This was one of the reasons I never showed up for most of the blind dates my grandmother had set me up with. But when my grandmother heard of Sophia Lancaster, she became obsessed with her.“You need to marry her.” “What if she isn’t who you think she is?” I’ve always asked her. “What if this Sophia doesn’t like me?” “Give her a chance?” My grandmother will always say.“We don’t even know what she looks like,” I had always replied. This was the truth because Sophia Lancaster had never shown herself to the public. I’ve only seen her father at private events, but not his daughter. She doesn’t even have a picture on the internet, except when she was a little girl. That’s all the internet has of her.“Marcus, have you gotten anything about her yet?” I asked while I got

I had woken up to a little pinch on my left hand. Happens that the nurse was still administering some injections. My visions were at first blurry as I could see the doctor faintly. I just prayed and hoped it wasn't what I was thinking. I can't be pregnant. “Doctor, what's wrong with me?” The doctor signaled the nurse to take away the trays leaving just the both of us in the ward. I looked through the blinds and I could see Alex and my father were in the waiting room. “Congratulations,” the doctor stretched forth his hand with a smile. I clenched my fist, praying to God that it shouldn't be what I was thinking about. “You are two weeks pregnant,” he finally dropped the bombshell. I blinked multiple times before asking the doctor to repeat what he had said. “You can't be serious?” I gasped in shock. Placing my hand on my belly, I looked into the doctor's eyes. Maybe they did the wrong test. I can't be pregnant for that bastard. Not even now when I'm here to take my revenge o

The wedding ended not quite on a good note as Alex had refused to say a word to me after he had successfully sent his ex-fiancée away, as well as Ethan. As the driver drove along the wet street, I couldn’t help but think about my life. This wasn’t the kind of wedding I had pictured for myself while growing up. But what am I to do when my father’s well-being is tied to it? All I know is that tomorrow my dad must be flown out of this country for his surgery. I cannot afford to lose him.“What’s on your mind?” Alexander broke the silence, his hand reaching out to me as soon as the driver pulled over.At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes. His house was not just filled with flowers and fountains, but at every edge of the house, there were guards and maids ready to receive us.In one word, this place looks like a palace. And I feel more like a queen in it.The smell of roses hits the air, blessing my nostrils with a good scent. I got lost in the whole scenery when Alexander reached out to

I never thought I'd be nervous on my wedding day. I thought it was just going to be a normal one, but this was different. I'm getting married to the most beautiful woman in New York City. And not just that, the heir to the whole of Lancaster's property. “You look so tense,” Marcus said as I stared at the mirror, perplexed. “Is it really visible?” “Yes. Just relax. I'm sure Sophia wouldn't want her man to look so stressed,” “You've forgotten this is not a real marriage. It's just a contract one, Marcus,” I said before picking up my cologne. “You need to see this,” Marcus suddenly called my attention to my phone. I had handed it over to him, letting him know that he was to handle anything that came my way today. ‘Can I see you for a minute?’ — Elizabeth. “I'm not interested,” I said. “Tell her I'm not interested,” I lashed back at Marcus. Turning my back on him to continue where I left off, Marcus heaved a sigh and started to type when a knock landed on the door. “Alex,” my

I had signed the contract form a day before today. Today's the D-day, my wedding day. I felt tears prick my eyes, as I blinked them back while staring at my gorgeous self in the mirror. “Your mom will be so proud of you,” Ariel spoke in whispers as she helped snatch my wedding gown behind. Vera Wang, the most popular fashionista, had sewn this wedding gown, and it cost a fortune. One could mistake this wedding for a real one. But deep down, we both know it's just for a year and after that, we can go our own way. “Thanks, Ariel. I don't want to ruin my makeup,” I sniffed before looking at the embroidery on my body; it was so gorgeous. “The groom is waiting,” a feminine voice echoed from behind. “Let them know that we'll be out soon,” I said, heaving a sigh. I could hear music booming from a distance, as my heart started to race faster. “I hope this won't end in disaster,” I whispered. I don't want it to be like the other day I collapsed on the stage. “You look nervous,” “D

“When are you getting married?” my father had asked, leaving me stunned.Shouldn’t he be concerned about his health? I can’t believe my father’s dying, and the only thing on his mind was me getting married to Alexander. Why was it so important?“We need to get you out of this place for surgery, Dad,” I insisted, with tears flowing down my cheeks. I felt my knees wobble beneath me as the thought of my father’s death kept crawling through my mind.“I’ll make you a promise,” he said, smiling in pain. “Which is?” Ariel asked, looking from my father to me.“After you are done with your wedding, I promise to go for surgery,” He said, coughing alongside.I withdrew my hand from my father, as I wiped off my tears before making my way out. It’s like he was trying to marry me off, just so he could leave me alone in this world. Is it fair? I felt some air leave my lungs as I tried to breathe, wiping off the tears that were rolling out of my eyes uncontrollably. Suddenly a hand touched me

Getting caught between two men was a whole lot, not to mention running away from Alexander this morning. And now the man I had run away from this morning was standing right in front of me. He is the only one who could save me from this. Just as we broke off from the kiss, Ethan grabbed my hand, but I wouldn’t even allow it.“I’m done with you, Ethan!” I lashed out in front of the reporters with Alex’s hand on my waist.“I don’t want us to do this, Ethan.” Alex stepped in, sending me behind him.“Alex–”“Get back, Elizabeth!” He yelled, signaling to Marcus and his bodyguard to take over.I was about to speak when Alexander lifted me off the ground as he made his way towards the car.“Get the door,” he charged, and quickly, one of the guards did as he instructed. The reporters rushed towards us, flashing their cameras in our faces and asking more questions about what we had done earlier, but none of us answered.“Start the car,” he ordered the driver, who asked where he was headed.“Ta

Just after she left, I touched myself beneath and realized I was still turned on.“She looks so hot,” I seethed, before staring at myself and my d*ck in the mirror.I was about to touch myself, just like I had watched in porn movies when a knock landed on the door.I quickly cleared my throat, asking the person to be on standby. “You can come in now,” I said, before sitting back in bed.“Good morning, boss.” Marcus had entered, his eyes scrutinizing the bed.“What?” I questioned abruptly while I trailed his eyes to my boxer.“Seems someone is still having a boner. Did you have sex with her?” Marcus questioned all of a sudden, causing me to shy away.I’m not one to do this, but I’ve always avoided sex, and now, I guess she’s my first. “Shut up, and tell me what the fuck brought you here.” I lashed, adjusting myself, before covering my body with the bedsheets.“Alright,” Marcus smiled before approaching me with the working tablet.“So this…” he started explaining the work for the day

The morning sun shone so bright, it made me squint.I was just about to stretch when I realized I wasn’t alone.“Alex?” I gasped, my voice barely above a whisper. As I tried to get out of bed, a wave of heaviness pulled me back down—my hangover finally kicking in.Memories of last night came crashing back. How I had held the bed frame tighter and allowed Alex to ride me like his horse.“Fuck!” I cursed. I didn’t plan for any of this.I wasn’t supposed to tell Alex I was ready to take his offer on this. God damnit! I can’t even face him right now.Carefully getting out of bed, I watched him shift a bit before finally sleeping off again. I reached out for my iPhone and scanned through the messages.“A hundred missed calls?! I covered my mouth as a small gasp left my lips. *Where are you, girl?**Your father is worried. Call me as soon as you get this* Ariel had dropped a series of text messages. I didn’t tell any of them I was going to the club. I never thought they were going to car

My hand whirled around his neck, my eyes settling on his lips.Damn! This man is the most handsome person I’ve ever seen. The way his tiny nose complemented his thin lips. And his blonde-golden hair complemented his well-shaped jaws, and right now, I couldn’t help myself.“I’m sorry,” I whispered. And before he could say any more words, I kissed off the words from his lips.As he struggled to pull me off, I tripped on his leg and was about to fall when his other hand brought me back to his chest. I inhaled his vanilla aura that spite my nose, and jeez, I wanted him so badly. “What did you give her?” I heard Alexander ask the bartender.“Alex–”“Answer me!” I heard him lash out at the bartender, who quickly brought out t
