A whore

Lexi's POV 

  “He is your boyfriend?” Julian asked and I gritted my teeth in anger. By ‘is’ he was indirectly acknowledging that we were still together.

 “Not at all, Julian. He's my ex. We are no longer together” I answered, my eyes never for once leaving Ethan's face. 

 Ethan's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. “So, you are the one who has been fucking my father, huh? You are the bitch that my father wants me to meet, huh?” He sneered and I rolled my eyes. 

 “You were so desperate for a man's touch that you had to go after my father. Just how shameless can you be, Lexi? It could have been someone else for heaven's sake”

  I felt a surge of rage at his words, but I kept my cool. I can't let him know that his words were getting to me. 

 Ethan was a punk and he would be pleased to know that his words were affecting me. I can't give him that satisfaction.

 “To hell with you, Ethan. You have no right to speak to me like that,” I spat my voice barely audible. “You betrayed me by fucking my sister and you joined my step mother in framing me for a crime I didn't commit,”

 Ethan snorted, his eyes glinting with anger. “Shut up, Lexi. We both know that you are just mad because I dumped you. That's why you got together with my father,”

 “Anyways, I don't have anything to say to you. I want an end to whatever you have with my father. Call it off right away and don't make me repeat myself,

 I rolled my eyes. He thinks he can control me like he always does?

 I took a step forward, my eyes flashing with anger. “You are pathetic, Ethan. Who do you think you are? To think you can control me? You think you can decide who I should be with? Newsflash, Ethan: we are done. Whatever we had between us was over for a long time. You have no right to dictate my life. Get that into your head,”

A smirk crept its way to my face as I watched as Ethan's face turned red with anger. He took a step forward, his fists clenched by his side.

 “When did you become a whore, Lexi? When did you start sleeping around with men?”

 A cold, calculated smile appeared on my face. “You want to know when I became a whore right? That should be when I was in prison. At least it's better to be a whore than to be with someone like you,”

 His eyes widened in shock and he took a step back, his face pale. 

 Somehow, it fills me with joy to know that my words were affecting him. I have never slept with any guy, but he never has to know that. I want him to live with the sadness that he wasn't the one who took my virginity like I've always promised him. 

 “How…how could you do such a thing, Lexi?” He stuttered and I rolled my eyes.

 “You are unbelievable and shameless,”

 Julian's voice cut through the tension, his expression confused. “What's going on here? Ethan? What's the meaning of this?”

 I turned to Julian, my eyes locking onto his. I flashed him a smile before taking my eyes back to Ethan.

 “I think it's time I make things clear, Ethan. I'm married to your father and nothing is going to come between us. You are gonna be seeing me occasionally, so deal with it. Say hi to your step mommy,” I added the last part with a wink. 

 Ethan's eyes narrowed, his face a mixture of anger and shock. “Cut the crap, Lexi. You can get married to some else. It shouldn't be my father for heaven's sake,” He muttered under his breath, but I heard him clearly.

 “Are you deaf? Whoever I chose to be with is none of your business, so fuck off,”

“I refuse to believe that you are married to my father. Prove it to me,” He said through gritted teeth. 

  With a proud smirk on my face, I turned to Julian, my eyes flashing with amusement. “You wanted a proof, so here you go,”

 I locked lips with Julian. The kiss was a bold, passionate kiss that claimed his lips as mine. Ethan's eyes narrowed when he saw our actions. 

 “Le…Lexi,” He stuttered.

 “Was that enough proof? Or do you want more?”

 “How could you—” 

 “Go to hell, Ethan,” I spat, thereby cutting him off. “Like I said earlier, you have no right to dictate my life. You are free to be with whoever you want and the same goes for me too, so get the hell out of here,”

  His face turned red with rage and the next minute he stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him. Of course, he glared at me. But who cares!

 Julian's eyes locked onto mine, an evil glint dancing across his face.

 “Did you just kiss me in front of my son? And because you want to get back at him?” He asked, but I gulped hard.

 “What are you talking about? Are we not married?” I asked in a low voice as I used my hair to hide my face. I could already feel the blush rising on my cheeks. 

 “Have you forgotten your words to me a day ago?” The next minute, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. 

 “Well, how about we continue what you started? After all, we are married, aren't we?”
