Normally, the Maryland maternal hospital is always a crowded place filled with people with different diseases, infections, health issues, or others.
Stepping into the hospital with fewer people seen than usual was a huge surprise and a relief as well. "At least, I won't wait in line this time around," Tullah said to herself. She walked over to the nurse's table to book an appointment with the doctor and luckily for her, the doctor was free for her now so she headed in with no delays. "Good morning doctor" She greeted as the doctor ushered her to sit on his office couch. "Good morning to you young lady, how may I help you?" The doctor asked even without lifting his eye away from the papers he had been looking at when Tullah had walked in. He was more focused on those papers than he was on the lady who was sitting in his office. Tullah noticed how drawn the doctor was to those papers that he was finding it difficult to concentrate on her, so she seized the opportunity to stare around the office, while she waited for his attention. Firstly, she made eye contact with the large portrait of a human brain sitting on the wall right behind the doctor. She took her time to study the labels one after the other but was interrupted in no short time. "Hello young lady, I asked how I may be of help to you?" The doctor called back Tullah's attention and this time around with his head up and straight towards her. Tullah took a deep breath before letting her mind speak. "I need a pregnancy test" She let out with her eyes half closed in order not to get the doctor's reaction. "Oh, ok. Walk back to the nurse that ushered you into my office tell her what you just said and she will lead you on what to do before directing you back to me" Tullah simply stood up and left the office. She told the nurse what the doctor had said there Tullah was asked to pay the necessary fees and her blood samples were drawn from her. Tullah sat in the waiting seat as she waited for the doctor to call her back into his office. She was scared, she feared for her life at this point and was not ready to risk another person's. She hoped that it wasn't what it should be, that it won't turn out positive. "Tullah Richard?" The nurse called out. "You are up next," she said as she saw a hand up. "Tullah Richard, right?" The doctor called out as Tullah stepped into the office once again with the door banged lock. "Yes doctor" She sat on the couch but this time around with her back uneasy and wore a more serious face. "Congratulations, You are four weeks pregnant," The doctor said with a huge smile on his lips hopefully waiting to hear Tullah scream out of excitement or rather still TEARS OF JOY not knowing how disgusted the lady was feeling right now. Tullah instantly thought of a way to smug the smile away from the doctor's lips as he could not read the minute and her expression. "And you need to stop stressing cause you could lose the baby anytime if you continue with any of the exercises you do now" The doctor was referring to the bruises on her face, she knew that for sure. "Now you can go get these prescribed drugs, it will help your body heal up fast because of the baby," The doctor said while handing her the test result. Tullah slowly stood to her feet, she sluggishly walked out of the doctor's office with lots in her mind that she nearly quacked the next patient after her. "Hey, look where you're going, young lady..!!" The lady snapped at her and hissed before advancing to the doctor's office. Tullah had to think fast, needed to do something if not she would end up losing herself and the little one in her. "Should I let Saul know? Or I should keep it to myself?" These questions kept on popping into her head without answers. She couldn't let Saul know cause he wouldn't care and one day, he would beat the little one out of her like he has always done Or will telling him change something about his behavior? "Oh certainly not" Tullah whispered to herself. She left the hospital back home without getting the prescribed drugs from the nurse. She didn't forget it, she simply couldn't afford them. Getting to the place she calls home which is also her place of hell, she could inhale the cigarette smoke coming from the window. She cracked the door open slightly and peeped inside just to find Saul sitting at his usual spot with a cigarette in between his hands. Tullah swallowed deeply before walking into the house quietly. "Where you coming from Tullah?" Saul's calm yet cold voice was heard and it made Tullah stop on her toes. "Hi bea" Tullah greeted. "I asked where you are coming from?" Saul repeated yet in a calm voice. "I went to go see Omah from the next street" There. That is it. The lie came up which means she isn't telling Saul about the baby. "And why will you go see her, I stated clearly that I don't want you having anything to do with her, right?" Saul stood right up and advanced himself toward Tullah while she continued to step back. Tullah's back hit the wall so hard that she groaned in pain, Saul didn't mind that he reached out his hands and held Tullah by the neck with no intention of strangling her to death but as part of a punishment. He enclosed his hands tightly on her neck which made Tullah cough profusely. "Saul…S.top..!!" Tullah let out a shakingly. "You can't go on and disobey me while I do nothing" Saul drew himself closer to Tullah and kissed her forehead, then her nose, down to her lips. He kissed Tullah so roughly that she found it difficult to breathe because he had his hand tightly on her neck and now had her mouth covered with his. Tullah tried pushing him away from herself but was too weak for that so she held on to Saul's lip with her teeth and bit him so hard that he moved away from her screaming, with his lips bleeding.Saul got so furious that he immediately pushed forward towards Tullah, his thick steps made Tullah so afraid."Saul please don't, please." He grabbed Tullah by the wrist and drew her away from the wall with force which got her landed to the floor in no time."How dare you? Did you bite my lips for kissing you? Now I will show you the real punishment" He bent over and slapped Tullah so hard on the face that she screamed in pain."What the fuck…." Saul cursedSaul stared furiously at Tullah for a long time before approaching her in a rush, he took hold of her wrist and dragged her up, along to the basement."Saul, please let go of my hands" Tullah let out as she was forcefully dragged away. She already knew this was it, Saul was used to locking her up in the basement for a whole day once she'd done something to him. At the point Tullah was tired of screaming, she knew nothing could stop Saul from locking her up but kept on trying."Saul, please let go of me!" She let out a whisper but w
Waking up to the brightness of the sun, shielding its way into the comfort of the room, lighting up the space, made the sleeping beauty realize that it was morning.Tullah yawned her way out of bed, she was already used to going to school late so she didn't bother checking the time instead she walked lazily into the bathroom, washed herself up, and got dressed for school.Aside from the fact that Tullah's Mom, Mrs. Naomi is a vicious woman, she never fails to make breakfast and dinner for the family. That should be more reasons why Mr. Richard has refused to divorce her yet.Tullah made her way down the stairs and to the dining only to find her Mom setting the table as usual."Good morning" Tullah greeted her without taking a glance at her Mom and also wasn't expecting a return to her greeting which she never got like always. She sat on the table and waited for her breakfast to be served while she scanned the whole room in search of her father, only to find him sitting at his favorite
"Tullah, get down here now" Mrs. Naomi screamed right through the living room, where Mr. Richard was also sitting while they waited for Tullah to join them, Noami walked over to the kitchen counter where her bag was and took out a big brown envelope that contains some papers which are yet to be reviewed.Tullah matched down to the living room only to find both her parents with her Dad sitting while her mom stood right next to the television, one looking at their mean faces could obviously see the pressure between them. She smiled awkwardly at them before taking a seat next to her Dad. She waited for her mom to break the news because she had always been the one doing that ever since her Dad lost his job."We are getting a divorce" Mrs. Naomi let out without a break of an eye, she threw the envelope over to the table for Tullah and her husband to have a look."What??. I mean, you didn't discuss this with me first, why?" Mr. Richard broke out angrily, he stood to his feet and took the en
Mr. Richard was still in a calm state, as they waited for Tullah to get down either with her luggage or without them. She was the one left to make her choice if she was going with Naomi, her mom or staying with her dad, Richard. Time flew as Tullah came down with a suitcase, filled with her clothes. Naomi stood up with a firm smile toying on her lips as she saw Tullah approaching, she at that point thought Tullah was going with her. She walked up to Tullah and extended her hands to help her carry her luggages but instead Tullah drew her hand backwards and walked past her leaving her to mourn her own shock. Surprisingly, on seeing this, Mr. Richard had some unusual thoughts that her daughter might want to relocate to somewhere else without her mother, just the two of them. He smiled sheepishly at himself as Tullah approached him. "So here is my decision, since you both have agreed to have a divorce without my permission, I will also love to sign a dissertation paper. I would love to
Four Months Later. "Baby, Hurry up, Let's go" Saul screamed towards Tullah's direction just about time, he heard the bedroom door open and slammed shut slowly as the footsteps approached him. He stood at a place with his eyes all over the lady that was standing right in his face. He stared blindly at Tullah as he couldn't place the words together. Tullah walked over to Saul in a black high heels and a perfect peach pink short dress, which showed off her beautiful legs and hips. "Bea am done already, how do I look?" Tullah kept smiling even after noticing the sudden pause on her boyfriend. She was happy to have pulled that kind of impression off him. Saul walked slowly towards his girl, slided his hand mindfully round her thin waist and pulled her hard to his chest. He kissed her neck, up to her cheek, to her forehead and then down to her lips. "Bea stop, you will ruin my makeup" Tullah giggled as she moved her face away from him. "Though you know we are going to be late?" She remin
Things fell into place as Tullah and Saul had proved to themselves how good they were with each other. Tullah couldn't believe she could live in peace and happiness for the past few months now, ever since she left her parents, at first she thought it was going to be hard, it could have been her worst regret but with Saul, it hit to her head as a realization that her parents weren't her happiness after all. ******* It's been four months now, since Mr. & Mrs. Richard Fax last saw their daughter. Considering the incident that had occurred last at their home which sent Tullah packing out of their house with or without their consent. Mr. Richard has always looked forward to meeting his daughter again but she never came through. "What do you have to say? Are you happy now?" Mr. Richard had asked his wife immediately that Tullah had left home. There was grave silence between the couple, Mrs. Noami never knew that there would be a day she regrets her mistake. She was so shocked at how thing
"Omah you don't get it, He has been a nice guy ever since the day I left my home to be with him" Tullah tried to explain as she was putting out the cookies she had been on before Omah brought up the topic again. "Bea, I am not saying Saul is not a nice guy, I mean it's not like he would want to exchange you for anything. I just wish you see my side on this, He loves you, Yes but still I wish the love also applies to him letting you live your life the way you wish to" Omah has always had a tensed atmosphere every time she's in same space with Saul which made her very mindful and conscious of him, his attitude his selfish and controlling mind. Tullah couldn't see Saul from Omah's perspective which makes them argue anytime Omah brings up the topic of how selfish and controlling she thinks Saul is. She's in love and would never want to think that Saul in any way wouldn't do everything right for her. "Omah am happy with Saul, With the way things are right now and I won't want to destroy
Ends Of Flashback. It's been two years since Tullah left home to be with Saul, who has been nothing but a shoulder to lean on for Tullah. They both showed how compatible they could be together, with Saul making all the provisions just for Tullah to be comfortable and Tullah has held to Saul's words about not getting a job or associating with people. "Hello pretty lady" Tullah greeted as Omah walked right behind her into the kitchen where she was busy making dinner for the night. Omah always tries to find a way to make Tullah realize that she has just been wasting her years with Saul. The topic kept on bringing little issues between her and Tullah but that was until Saul barged in on them while Omah was busy bad mouthing him and telling Tullah things that made him angry. "So why are you guys not married yet? If he loves you so much then he should make you his wife" Omah was beginning to find it creepy how Saul has always been a gentleman or has always acted like a gentleman. She doe
Theo dropped his phone and fell back on the couch with his head facing up, Tony's response and reaction to the news did not give hope of things getting better. He wasn't taking the news in which made Theo a bit worried, he feared that at some point Tony might want to sue Liam or arrest him.Alice sighed heavily and rested her back on the couch as well." Now what about Liam? What do you plan on doing about him?" she asked with her head still up. She didn't want to tell Theo what to do because she already knew he was going to try and talk Liam out of this agitation."I will call Liam first thing tomorrow morning and end this uproar with him" Alice smiled at his response, she had predicted that those could be his exact words and they turned out to be."I wish all this could end soon" Alice closed her eyes immediately after those words had left her lips, she drifted off even before Theo could realize what was going on with her.Theo stared at her for some time before carrying her up into
Theodore and Alice had slept together in Theo's room while cuddling themselves as Alice tried consoling Theo on his yet-to-happen misery. At first, they had slept off cuddled together like they were never to be separated but waking up in a disastrous position was one of the few things you can never imagine.Theodore woke up but couldn't stand in an instant as he felt a heavy object placed on his legs, he couldn't move his legs at that moment so he wiped his eyes with his hands to see clearly what was on him, low and behold it was Alice's both legs crossed over on Theo's. Theo took a deep breath once he noticed it was Alice's legs then did he remember how they came to sleep together in his room? He smiled then slowly and tried to pull his legs out without waking Alice but it seemed to be an impossible task so he had to shake Alice a little so she could whine and shift away from him."Alice, could you please move away from me?" He pushed her but she laid like a hog and didn't move, he t
Half way into dinner, Xavier had decided to let the good news out. He cleared his throat which got everyone's attention drawn towards him."I have good news. So, Alice did well with the date with Mr. Hillary, she made him fall for her completely and I guess she likes him for that we will be having a family dinner which will include Mr. Hillary and Alice then we can talk about their marriage date" Xavier was done talking, he looked at his Mom and noticed her smiling with everything in her, she simply signaled him with a nod "Job well done" Xavier looked over to his father, Mr. George didn't say anything, he only focused himself on his food and so was Ander. He chuckled, rolled his eyes and turned over to face Jamie."Since you have heard the new, now so you know, you will be giving Alice a call by tomorrow and let her know about the dinner which she must attend" Xavier thought for a while before he continued with what he was saying. "And for the reminder, you are to wake up as early a
Alice sat on her bed thinking over the display she saw outside, she still couldn't accept the fact that Theo still loved Liam enough not to even blink away from him after all he had done. She left them cause she couldn't stand the sight of them together but at the same time, she was as curious as hell about what was going on between them out there so she decided to peek at them.Alice came out of her room and walked into the kitchen like she didn't care to notice them there. She kept her side eyes on them and her ears dropped open while listening to their conversation. Alice felt more drawn to them when she heard Theo say something about what had happened between him, Liam, and Tony. She never knew that after they had shared their affections Theo would finally bring up the topic but surprisingly he did so she walked closer in silence towards them without Liam nor Theo noticing her."No" Liam answered or more like he screamed as though he was fighting with someone. Theo was shocked at
Liam got the punishment he deserved. He could not help but feel so much joy in him, at least it was now left for him to make things up with Liam and make him stop. He didn't know how to thank Tony enough, it was still too early to offer him a drink."I should be on my way now" Tony stood to his paws but was stopped by Theo as he was about to leave."Why don't you join us for breakfast, am sure you have not had one since it's still early" Theo proposed."No it's ok, I will have something out there""N,o I insist, come over to the table" Alice chipped into the discussion and dragged Tony to the table. He sat quietly being left with no choice, he had to eat with them. They were in a quiet but comfortable silence as they ate. Alice was the only one who had her phone with her, so she kept her focus solely on the meal and the rest on her phone. Done with eating, they all relaxed for a few minutes before Theo and Alice stood to move all the dishes and Tony raised to help out as well."No don
Alice pulled up at the middle of the road once she found out that the convey were for Jayden. She stayed quite and waited for him to leave quietly but No, Jayden sat like he owned the car without blinking at Alice's way.Jayden strucked himself there in the car with no expectations of leaving. Surprisingly Alice could no longer endure the patience in her."Aren't you getting down already?" Alice asked as she fully turned to face Jayden. He skirmed before replying to what Alice had said to him. "Why should I leave? I have not gotten to my destination anyways" He said with a huge smile toying on his lips."Your convoy is right behind us so you can as well continue your escape with it after all we have already lost the reporters" Alice spat out without thinking."Oh really" He smiled hearty. "Can I know your name Miss?" He asked."If you don't mind I would….." Alice's phone rang cutting her words short. She eyed Jayden for a while before picking up the call."Hey babe" The very first re
The city has its great looks on the outside, bulbs in buildings were glittering all over the night, making the night look as beautiful as the stars in the sky. The car had drove for thirty minutes before coming to a stop at the front of a black electric gate. The gate opened itself and the driver drove into the long way, he drove for another two minutes before getting in sight of a huge mansion standing tall in the middle of the forest. Naomi observed in awe as she was driven to an unknown place and a weird environment. At some point she began to wonder if she was wrong by entering the car. "Where is this? Am I safe?" She took her phone and placed the 911 on a speed dail so she can be able to call the cops if anything goes wrong but seeing the beautiful building made her forget about being in a weird environment instead she got anxious of going inside. She couldn't to see what the inside was all about. The guard walked over to the side and opened the car for Naomi. She stepped out g
"Baby please marry me" Tullah thought of this as the happiest moment of her life, she couldn't believe how things had finally gotten to this. She's getting married, she's about to become somebody's wife. Despite all she has passed through, getting to this point where she could be happy again made her believe so much on the saying that There Is Always Light At The End Of Every Tunnel. With so much joy, Tullah took out her hand and the right was slided into her perfect finger. She couldn't stop smiling, she hugged him like her life depends on it with a light peek at the back of his neck. "I will never leave you bady, I love you so much" She pulled into a kiss with him. The atmosphere was lovely and the kiss was so passionate, Tullah is so much in love that nothing else matters at the moment. "Tullah?" Saul slowly shaked her back to the future. "Yes?" Tullah was a bit confused as she opened her eyes only to find herself in the bedroom and Saul sitting right beside her. "Wake up. Bre
"No…" Omah came closer to the couch where Tullah was lying, she stumbled to the floor and held Tullah's hand. "You were pregnant?" Omah watched Tullah nod her head in response. She took a deep breath before asking again. "And he knows about the pregnancy?" Tullah nodded once again. "Let's get you all cleaned up firstly" Omah helped her up and sluggishly took her to the visitors bathroom where she ran her a hot bath and made her stay inside the bath tub for a long while. Tullah could feel her body relax into the tub, she felt a sense of ease. She could never thank Omah enough for coming over despite the time of the night. She laid in the tub for a few minutes before dozing off. Omah stared pitifully at Tullah as she slept in the bathtub, she didn't know where to start from. She went back into the sitting room with a bucket of water and a towel with some detergents. Her tears were uncontrollable as she tried to imagine what Tullah had passed through. She quickly cleared the couch o
