Chapter Four: The First Runaway.

Waking up to the brightness of the sun, shielding its way into the comfort of the room, lighting up the space, made the sleeping beauty realize that it was morning.

Tullah yawned her way out of bed, she was already used to going to school late so she didn't bother checking the time instead she walked lazily into the bathroom, washed herself up, and got dressed for school.

Aside from the fact that Tullah's Mom, Mrs. Naomi is a vicious woman, she never fails to make breakfast and dinner for the family. That should be more reasons why Mr. Richard has refused to divorce her yet.

Tullah made her way down the stairs and to the dining only to find her Mom setting the table as usual.

"Good morning" Tullah greeted her without taking a glance at her Mom and also wasn't expecting a return to her greeting which she never got like always. She sat on the table and waited for her breakfast to be served while she scanned the whole room in search of her father, only to find him sitting at his favorite spot with the morning newspaper covering his face. Tullah didn't mind greeting him, after all, it was no big deal anyway.

Breakfast was served as Tullah ate to her satisfaction and raced herself out of the house.

Tang Memorial High School has been a place of control for Tullah, she was one of the top bullies at her school. She had always shown to be palliative despite how lonely she had always felt but not until she got her first college boyfriend, Saul. Things changed for her, she wanted more drama in her life, more attention, she longed to stop being the good girl and that she was.

Tullah set out to do and be whatever she wished to be. She goes clubbing and gets used to taking alcohol even with her being underage. The very night Tullah got to know Saul was a night at the club. While she danced and swung her waist, she slowly noticed an eye-burning hole in her body but didn't stop dancing until the eyes got to her back. Tullah slowly turned to know who's eyes were those and surprisingly she got to face a handsome chocolate-skinned guy, who stood out so tall and muscular. Without being able to take a step away from him, Saul bent over and whispered something that sent goosebumps all over her skin.

"Hey, Am Saul" Tullah was shut of words as his sweet voice echoed into her ears.

Saul is a college guy who no longer lives with his parents considering how violent he had chosen to become. He doesn't care about anyone in his life, he smokes, gambles, and lives life as rough as it's been described but doesn't like going close to girls. Girls could be said to be his worst nightmare considering his previous heartbreak but getting to meet Tullah at the club that night, was one of the happiest moments of his life.

Sitting at the bar area with his eyes scanning the whole place as girls danced and rocked while boys had their make-out chicks. Saul didn't care about all those things so he only focused on his drinks and smoking. At some point, he decided to look around a bit more and then make his way home but just as he got his heads up the first sight had captured his eyes and denied him access to look away.

Saul held his gaze at the beautiful soul he had set his eyes on, he stared so much without the girl having looked his way. Some weird thoughts came to mind though he tried pushing them aside but it turned out to be more persisting. Saul stood from where he sat and before he knew it, he was already standing right in front of the beauty.

Just as she turned and placed her eyes on him, Saul felt a bit lost in her beauty but got himself immediately, bent over, and whispered into her ear.

"Hey, Am Saul" Was all that could leave his lips. He noticed the girl staring at him extremely, at first he was happy about it but minutes passed and she yet couldn't say a word, leaving Saul a bit nervous.

Saul almost regretted approaching her not until she drew herself closer to him, which made his heart skip a beat as she whispered back into his ear. "Hi, Am Tullah," She said with a huge smile that melted Saul's hard heart against love in an instant.

A few minutes passed, and Saul and Tullah had gotten themselves situated and engaged in a heartwarming conversation while they sipped their drink. Anyone could see Tullah grinding at every little joke Saul made, that at the end of the day, they had to exchange numbers and that was it.

Days after days, Tullah had finally agreed to date Saul which made him so happy that he had made up his mind to keep Tullah right by his side no matter what.

Tullah started dating one of the honest college guys in town even without her parent's notice. She got escorted to school most times just to show off her boyfriend which was always a success considering how the girls kept drooling over Saul. It made her so happy that her life had finally gotten more drama in it, she felt less lonely.

Saul on the other hand bragged most times to his friends about his girlfriend, which made him take Tullah to clubs more often just to meet up with his friends and he also took her to places a high school girl should never go, Tullah being her type of girl, she had no problem with those outings since she was always with Saul.

They both lived their lives for themselves, Tullah had forgotten about her family problems, all she did was go to school, and from there to Saul's place, they went clubbing and then Tullah came back home late at night without having any of her parents ask of her whereabouts.
