Lisa’s POV

“It’s a baby Lisa! Have some mercy!” Andre yelled at me that night. I had confronted him immediately in our bed room.

“I don’t care! I don’t want to see her here!” I screamed louder. I was this close to losing it.

“I can’t send her away, she has my child,” he grumbled.

“What! I can’t believe the nerve— I sneered— you cheated on me and brought back a receipt and you had the guts to throw it in my face? What of me? My— ” I was about to tell him about my own baby when he interrupted me.

“My hands are tied,” he announced.

“So you are going to sit there like a dummy and do nothing?” I turned my head to the side. The next thing I know is I am being shoved.

Andre pinned me to the wall. “I have had enough of your stupid attitude.“ He growled. “If you had quietly gotten pregnant, this would not be the case!” he warned me.

“What?” I gasped. Shock reverberated through my body. I couldn’t believe those words were coming from Andre. My Andre.

Andre walked out of the room.

I slowly sank to the floor and tears began to flow. And so that night, sleep came and stole me away.

The sun penetrated through the partition in the room. That was how I knew it was morning. I blinked my eyes to reality and, my brain dredged up the last thing I heard from the night before. My heart was heavy but the one that stuck like glue was Andre’s last words.

“We have waited for 3 years without a child and I am not going to turn my back on the one woman who has my child.”

Although he mumbled that he would find the lady a house but I doubted if he would actually do it.

“Who is there?! Please don’t break down my door!” Becky screamed from inside. She opened the pigeon hole, peeped, and then proceeded to open the door.

“Jeez! Girl you…. Oh my god Lisa, what’s wrong your eyes are swollen!?” I flung my arms around her and tears pulled in my eyes.

She managed to calm me down and I told her the whole story.

“What do you plan to do?” she asked.

“Honestly I don’t know” I said. Then I remembered my parents.

“Please Becky don’t tell them I told you this,” I pleaded.

She nodded. “Your secret is safe with me.”

I knew that if my parents were to know, they would definitely not take this lightly. Especially my father. I want to handle this as quick as I can.

“I will handle this,” I said aloud to Becky’s hearing. She looked at me. Worry etched on her face. Honestly I wouldn’t handle anything. All I wanted to do was to lock myself in my room and cry.

*******

I was in the kitchen the next day, trying to make myself breakfast when my phone rang. The maids were not around.

My heart skipped when I saw the caller ID. I quickly washed my hands and walked out of the house.

“Hello dad” I whispered.

“Lisa why won’t you reply my messages?”

“Dad I have been busy. You know married life and—

“I spoke to Becky,” he said. I shut my eyes and cussed in my heart. That traitor. She said she would not tell anyone.

“Lisa I want you to come home.” he said.

“No dad I have a life here. I have a husband—”

“Honey please come home, come to where you are loved. What you have there is barely a life.”

“We miss you!” I heard my mum’s voice.

Immediately I felt some nostalgia. Tears flooded my eyes.

“I miss you too,” I responded.

“Come home Lisa,” my father said.

I looked behind and the house came to a view. I remembered when I was taunted and bullied. They said all I had were given to me by my father. I was hated for coming from wealth. That was why when Andre, asked me to marry him I readily agreed. I wanted to make something of my own, without the influence of my billionaire father.

“No…no dad.”

“What?”

“Dad I will solve this out,” I said. I immediately plastered a big smile on my face and talked cheerfully till I ended the call. Before I went into the house, I wiped my tears and took a deep breath. I will fight this no way or the other.

********

I walked in on the most disgusting scene on my life. Andre’s side piece was in the kitchen. She was blasting the sex tape she had sent to me. I know this because I had accidentally put it on. Out of curiosity I let it play.

Standing in the entrance of my kitchen and listening to it, I regretted ever putting it on.

“Fuck baby..” Andre groaned.

“Do you like that?” she purred like a cat as she batted her lashes.

“Stop. Doing. That” he groaned. She knew what he was taking about. She knew that whenever she acted all innocent while she was riding him, it always gets him off. she continued doing that.

“Oh fuck! You. Are. So. Sweet,” he groaned in between sentences as she began moving faster. Then he emptied himself in her. He signed deeply as he leaned on his hands to give her a deep kiss.

“I love you” Andre said in between kisses as he began nibbling her neck.

“Yea, are you sure of that” she said chucking. He bit her neck and she screamed in pain and pleasure.

“Yea I am. I love you with all my heart” he said as she could feel his mouth pull up into a smile on her neck.

“Well I am lucky to have you Baby. You make my life so beautiful” she said.

“Fuck babe…I’m.. I’m” she gasped.

She turned to me and smirked. I walked out of the kitchen and tears stuck to my eyes.

"I want to hurt Andre so bad, but involving Leo feels like a huge risk. Not after knowing what he is to us, I mean my father, it stresses me out.”Liam leaned back in his chair. "I get it, but think about what you could gain. You could take down Andre and his whole empire."I stood up and started pacing around the room. "I know, but it's not just about winning or losing. "And I can show you the proof, if you'd like."He pulled out a small folder from his briefcase and slid it across the table to me. I hesitated for a moment before opening it, my heart racing with anticipation. The documents inside were damning - emails, memos, and financial records that all pointed to a deep-seated connection between Marcus and Leo.
