"So, have you had lunch, Aunt Emily? Mama and I just finished breakfast," Summer asked with her sweet voice and smile.

"Yes, I have. Here is two hours ahead of L City, Summer," Emily replied.

"Are you at a hotel? But it doesn't look like a hotel. Are you staying at a friend's house? Or is it your own house? Auntie could have just bought it. Everything looks new there."

Sky elbowed her daughter's arm gently. "Honey, don't confuse Emily. Ask her one by one, or her head will get heavy."

Emily laughed louder. However, remembering one thing, her cheerfulness faded. Sky noticed that.

"What's wrong, Emily? Did I say something wrong?"

Emily shook her head. Her face looked sad now. "You know what? I'm staying at Cayden's house."

"Uncle Cayden?" Summer's eyes lit up. She stretched her neck. "Where is he? I haven't seen him for a long time. Does he still remember me? He still has his cool camera, right?"

Sky hurriedly caught Summer and covered her mouth. "Honey, let Emily talk fir

When she arrived at the elevator door, Emily froze. Why did Cayden take her upstairs? There were just the Evans' rooms and work space on that floor. "Emily? Why are you thinking? Come on in," Cayden said. It turned out he was already in the elevator. Emily blinked. Faking a laugh, she stood by Cayden's side. "Sorry. I was too amazed. The elevator in my office isn't even this big," she replied spontaneously. "We actually prepared this elevator for Inston. Who would have thought, I would actually be using it now." Emily's face dimmed. She didn't mean to spread sadness. "I think Inston will be happy when he sees this elevator. He knows how much his family loves and cares about him," she tried to fix the situation. Cayden raised an eyebrow. He didn't expect Emily to prefer talking about the future rather than the past. "Yes, I also think so. Especially, when he finds out that his family members have increased in number. He must be happy to wake up and see the world again."

"Do you know why I take you here?" Cayden whispered again. Emily shook her head. "Why?" "Because you barely know me. All this time, I've only seen you from afar. When we met in France, I still pretended to be Prince. Now ...." Cayden took Emily's hand. "Only now can I show you who I truly am. I don't want you to be confused and doubtful anymore, Emily. I want you to know me well. I am a man who's trying to be cool, so I can meet you again without shame or regret." Emily bit her lip. Her tears would spill if she didn't do that. "I admit I was confused. But I never doubted you, Cay," she replied in a hoarse voice. "I know, you're the boy I had always been waiting for—someone I believed would come, someone who would keep his promises." While taking a deep breath, Emily looked at the wall that displayed Cayden's journey of life. There were only pictures of the people closest to him on that side. One of them was hers. "Just like you, Cay, I also have lots of stories to tell. I

Now Emily understood why Cayden didn't sit in the middle of the bench. He left some space for her. After Emily sat beside him, Cayden closed his eyes. He played every melody with deep feeling. Emily enjoyed it with teary eyes. "Did you know?" Cayden whispered while kept playing. "Liebestraume is actually an original song. It has lyrics, the poems that describe three forms of love." Cayden's voice was so gentle. Emily couldn't help but look at him. Even though his eyes were still closed, his face was still enchanting. Smiling, Emily kept to listen to his words. "The first section is about exalted love, while the second is about erotic love." Cayden paused his words, adjusting to the rhythm of the song. "The most famous part is the one I'm playing. Liebestraume number three. This song is about mature love, the highest level of love that a person

However, she couldn't take her eyes off of her "future daughter-in-law". According to her, Emily was cute and sweet. "Emily, can I ask you something?" she asked when the opportunity came. Emily straightened her back. Her eyes widened, especially when she realized that Gabriella was smiling mysteriously at her. "Yes, Ma'am." The woman sitting opposite Emily leaned towards the table. "Do you have an ideal age for marriage?" Emily froze. Her eyes flickered, searching for the right answer. The others secretly found her expression funny. "I-I ... never thought about it." Gabriella's lips pursed. "How about you start thinking about it? Maybe that could be a clue when Cayden should propose to you." "Mom?" the guy who sat beside Gabriella whispered. "Why discuss that? She felt flattered and shy at the same time. "Thank you, Mrs. Evans. I didn't know you thought that great of me," she said with her head slightly bowed. "You're that great, Sweetheart. Why do you sound doubtful?" Emily peeked out of the corner of her eye. Her smile turned wry. "Recently, I've done a lot of stupid things. I put Cayden in danger several times. I still regret it till now. I also feel that I haven't succeeded in making amends. My kindness towards Cayden is still lacking." Suddenly, Gabriella laughed. Her voice surprised Emily. "See? Unexpectedly, Cayden laughed. He stroked her hair, whispering, "I knew you wouldn't let me fall. You caught me swiftly. Are you hurt?" Emily shook her head slightly. "You'd better be more careful if you're afraid of hurting me. We're lucky the bed was behind us. Otherwise, we'd have landed on the floor. Now let's get up. It's not good if we stay here too long. Other people might misunderstand." Emily pushed Cayden's shoulder. However, the man was reluctant to move. "What would people think if they saw us like this? We didn't do anything. You just saved me from falling down to the floor." Cayden smiled mischievously. His index finger moved gently, erasing the wrinkles at her eyebrows. At a height of 186 meters from the road, Emily's eyes lit up. The room she had just entered had glass walls. The view of Auckland city was beautifully displayed behind it. "Welcome to the tallest tower in NZ, Uncle and Auntie. This tower is an icon of Auckland city, built in 1994 with a total height of 328 meters. From this floor, you can enjoy a 360° view of the city. However, seeing how the newlywed walked, her joy turned to surprise. "Oh, Mama? What's wrong with Auntie's legs? Why is she walking like that?" Hearing her daughter's remark, Sky flinched. The curve of her lips froze. "I don't think there's anything wrong with Emily," she denied hesitantly. "No, Mama. Auntie doesn't usually walk like that. She just looks weird. Are her legs still sore from standing so much at her wedding last week? Or maybe, the dress was too heavy, so her legs were tired?" Sky grimaced. "Summer, how about we stop talking about that?
