60. Trapped

Seeing Orion open the window, the guards rushed to take off their suits. They wrapped the strange balls which were still hissing, then took turns throwing them out of the window towards the plants on the ground floor.

Meanwhile, Louis quickly covered Emily's nose. Holding her in one arm, he guided her out.

However, Emily refused to walk. She looked back. Her hand tried to reach out.

"Cayden," she called incoherently.

On the bed, Cayden had equipped himself with a portable oxygen can and a gun.

"Don't worry about me! I'm fine," he pointed at his equipment. "Come out quickly! The anesthetic has already spread!"

Seeing that Emily was still reluctant to walk, Orion ordered the guards to check the situation outside. Then, he moved the wheelchair to the side of the bed.

"No," Cayden shook his head firmly. "I can take care of myself. You guys go. Hurry! You don't have much time!"

Emily's eyes filled with tears seeing how Cayden breathed in oxygen. The can was so small. How lo
