Chapter 5. He Is Aditya Rashaad

Seeing Calvin, who was cornered, Andi immediately broke the ice. "How is the current leader, ma'am?" asked the man, looking so worried.

"What happened exactly, sis?" Asked Benny.

"Forgive my impudence earlier, sis, but really, I never intended to replace the leader, let alone betray my brother-in-law. How is the current situation?" Billy said not to be outdone by Benny.

While the others just looked down, they couldn't believe that there was such a cruel person. Mrs. Sandra didn't care about the barrage of questions she asked her because they were so worried about her husband's current condition. She looked at their faces one by one; no one looked strange; only Calvin was acting ordinary, so Mrs. Sandra suspected him.

"I'm sorry I can't answer all of your questions; we'll just focus on today's meeting. Namely, at the meeting to elect a new leader or renewal of leadership, for those who are suspicious of my son, I will have Mr. Yosef share our son's  biodata. Please, sir, share it." Mrs. Sandra ordered her loyal aide.

Mr. Yosef walked and went around the table of each member in the room while distributing paper leaflets for them to read and study. As the members read and studied the leaflets, the data about Aditya was written in full.

Then the members nodded and conferred with each other, whispering here and there.

"Well, ma'am, here it is written that the young master has a ten percent share given by his grandfather, Mr. Ali; in total, he has more than seventy percent when combined with the property of the great master; therefore, by rule, he is the new leader of this company." Mr. Weber explained.

Everyone agreed to Mr. Weber's words, although Calvin looked weak when he found out that the leader was still under his age. He couldn't do anything because it was clear that Aditya was the rightful heir to the company.

"Well, ma'am, please introduce the young master to us," asked Mr. Andi.

Mrs. Sandra turned to Mr. Yosef, but he shook his head. 'Aditya still hasn't come; could he be backing out? Could he have left me and his father?" thought Mrs. Sandra.

"Is there a problem, ma'am?" Asked Mr. Abraham.

"Yes, my son has not come, or maybe he is not ready to accept this burden." Mrs. Sandra replied with a look of sadness on her face.

"If your son doesn't come, we will have to choose another leader, ma'am. Isn't the main requirement for being a leader that the person must also be present at this meeting?" said Mr. Weber.

Benny was seen feeling happy and secretly smiling slyly because he was sure that his nephew was a fake, but he still didn't believe that his sister Sandra had a child.

Indra and Calvin were also seen whispering to each other, but Calvin played it safe because he finally knew Indra's true character, was cunning, and liked to use other people for his own interests. Even Calvin suspected that the leader's accident was masterminded by Mr. Indra.

In a state of urgency, Sandra was getting confused; she thought maybe Aditya had changed his mind and didn't want to help her and her father.

"Yes, ma'am, shall we continue this meeting?" Asked Mr. Weber.

Mrs. Sandra nodded weakly. When she was about to sit down, suddenly the door opened. Aditya appeared and walked towards them dashingly. The young man looked so handsome and classy in the suit he was wearing at the moment.

"Sorry, mom, I'm late." Greeting Aditya, who then hugged and kissed Mrs. Sandra's forehead, the mother-son drama began.

Mrs. Sandra was so happy when she got this warm treatment from Aditya, even though she knew that Aditya was just acting.

"Why, son, are you stuck in traffic?" As asked by Mrs. Sandra, her acting was natural.

"Yes mom." Aditya replied shortly.

"Mr. Weber, this is my son, Aditya Rashaad." Mrs. Sandra said as she took Aditya by the arm.

All the members were amazed by Aditya's agility; this young man was so similar to the leader, Fajar Rashaad.

With the arrival of Aditya, of course, the leadership inevitably fell to him. Mrs. Sandra felt so relieved because the situation that had made her desperate was now safe, and she was grateful because she could finally secure her husband's position.

Aditya was brought by Mr. Weber and introduced to all the members; there was nothing awkward here, and all the shareholders looked so happy when getting acquainted and shaking hands with Aditya. Especially Calvin; the look on his face was so happy when dealing with Aditya, even though previously he was the first person who seemed to be against even running for leadership. Now it is very difficult for Mrs. Sandra to find out who masterminded the stabbing that happened to her husband yesterday.

But her anxiety was a little relieved by the presence of Aditya and his warm attitude. Mrs. Sandra felt as if she had a real son.

Aditya and Mrs. Sandra left the meeting room to be taken to the room where he would work later. The room was usually used by his father, Mr. Fajar.

"Adit, I think if we have time, we should look for files on the shareholders. You can learn their genealogy," said Mrs. Sandra. And this time, she spoke a little awkwardly.

"Yes, ma'am," Adit replied.

"Get used to calling me Mom," Madam Sandra instructed, a little embarrassed.

"Yes, mom," Aditya replied without thinking.

For him, Mrs. Sandra is a woman he respects a lot, just like his mother, so whatever she tells him to do willingly. Moreover, he had received permission from his own biological mother, and although forced, the life as an heir that he never wanted he had to live today.

Knock, knock, knock. Someone knocked on the office door. Adit and Mrs. Sandra immediately stood face-to-face. Uncle Yosef opened the door. Mr. Weber and Mr. Abraham came to visit Aditya, who seemed to be talking with Mrs. Sandra. Like a mother-and-son scene, Mrs. Sandra was seen tidying up her son's tie, which of course was just an act that Mrs. Sandra was deliberately showing.

"Oh, Mr. Weber. Mr. Abraham, please come in, gentlemen," greeted Sandra, looking happy with a smile adorning her face.

"Apparently there is Mrs. Sandra; we would like to greet and chat with the young master. But if we disturb you, we will come again later," replied Mr. Abraham.

"No, gentlemen, please come in; let's sit down. It's time for me to leave. I'll leave my son with you two." Mrs. Sandra replied, still looking so happy.

Mr. Weber and Mr. Abraham nodded together and entered the room. Aditya invited them to sit down while Mrs. Sandra said goodbye to go to her office.

"Have a seat, Mr. Weber, Mr. Abraham. What do you like to drink? Shall I order some?" Aditya asked politely and kindly.

"Just water, young master; sorry for the trouble," replied Mr. Weber.

"No, sir, uncle Yosef, where can I get some water?" Aditya asked Yosef, the assistant Mrs. Sandra had set up beside him.

"Let me get it, young master; you just sit down," replied uncle Joseph.

Mr. Weber and Mr. Abraham exchanged glances. It seemed like these two elders had come to test Aditya. Would Aditya manage to convince them?
