The Burg Family

A well-built man sat on his throne while holding a cell phone that had been attached to his ear for quite some time. 

"Alright, do everything according to our plan." 

"Yes, sir."

That was the final conversation with Theodor Nawilis Burg, the C.E.O. of Burg Corporation. Many foreign companies have also invested in the company, suggesting its success in the world market. 

Theodor, a 29-year-old man, is the first grandson of Gilbert Jansen Burg, the owner of Burg Corporation, and has been named the company's heir. 

That doesn't necessarily make Theodor big-headed or dependent on his family. Theodor felt he was carrying a Very Heavy mandate, so he always wanted to feel perfect at every opportunity. Theodor was such a genius that his grandfather felt. He had made no mistake in choosing the heir to his fortune. 

"My grandson, you're finally home. How was the company today?"

"Yes, as usual. Very busy." Theodor said.

"Good, good. You're a child genius." Gilbert complimented. 

The conversation continued. At the end of the conversation, footsteps are heard entering the house. It was Gibson, and Jessica had also just returned home. Gilbert's face, which had previously looked friendly, was now grim and sour. It was as if he was reluctant to welcome his youngest son. 

"Dad, I'm home." He was about to hug but brushed off. 

The look on Gibson's face began to sour when his father didn't welcome his arrival. Gibson seemed to glance sarcastically at Theodor. He was so annoyed at Theodor's behavior to be arrogant in front of him. Gilbert did not even welcome Gibson's wife, Jessica. However, this did not upset Jessica because she was used to it. 

"Father, is it very reluctant to welcome my arrival?" Gibson asked hopefully.

"You ... Don't you realize what you've done? You can only accompany your wife shopping! Spending my wealth for nothing, tsk!" 

"Just today, I accompanied her. Am I not very useful to you?"

"Right. Well, Gibson also accompanied me after he finished his work." Jessica said.

"Ah, never mind, I'm go to back to the room." The middle-aged man got up from his seat.

Theodor immediately welcomed his grandfather's hand and accompanied him back to the room. Gibson and Jessica's faces looked upset to see that their father was so close to his first grandchild. Even he seemed to be unwanted. Shortly after that, Yasmin arrived, who had just returned from work. She just greeted him as if it was just a formality. Gibson was even more offended. Yasmin does have an ignorant nature and always puts herself first. So Gibson himself doesn't know whether Yasmin is a friend or foe. 

Anna will come to welcome Gibson and Jessica and offer them both a cup of tea. Gibson looked angrily and immediately rejected the offer, leaving Anna, his sister-in-law, alone. Anna was not too surprised because her sister-in-law's behavior was Common to her. Despite her lousy nature, Anna still accepts Gibson and Jessica as her family. 

Not long after Gibson left, Anna's husband, Elden, had just finished playing golf with his coworkers. As a form of affection, he kissed Anna's forehead, and Anna greeted him with a warm hug. 

"Did you have dinner?" 

"Of course. Mr. Park took me to eat a Korean food before going home."

"Ah, I see. Can I get you some tea?" Anna Ask.

"Of course. Oh yeah, where's Theo? I want to talk to him about something."

"He's probably in his room. Never mind, don't bother your son at home with work. Let him rest." Anna looked worried.

"This is very important. It is him responsibility as the successor of this family." Elden said firmly. 

"Alright, just do it. It's useless if you won't listen to me." Anna said, starting to sulk. 

Elden contacted Theodor and invited him to his study. Theodor, who had just finished bathing and was wearing pajamas, rushed to his father with some documents in his hands. Theodor seemed to know what his father wanted to talk about, so he was already prepared with everything. 

Anna looked anxious to see her son so busy with work. She was worried about her eldest son, especially about his romantic relationship. It was as if she had a Premonition that her son might never date, let alone get married. She thought of finding someone who might be her son's lover, but unfortunately, every time she arranged for a blind date, Theodor always left in the middle of the meeting to take care of his work. As a result, everything always failed. 

"Did you just finish discussing work with Uncle?" A girl asked if Theodor had just exited his father's room.

"Um."

"Like there's no other life, go on a date once in a while to make your life more colorful." 

"Don't be a smart kid. Go to school properly. Don't date so much!" 

"THEO! I'm already a big girl! I'm already 22 years old." Naura shouted.

The 22-year-old girl was named Naura. The girl who had just greeted her cousin's brother and teased him a little was already practically an adult, but Theodor always considered her a child because of her petite posture. Naura is Gibson and Jessica's only child. Gibson and Jessica are Theodor's uncle and aunt. She is currently preparing for her master's degree. Naura is the only one of the most cheerful people in the Burg family because she has a jolly nature. Naura doesn't even care how her family views her. However, she likes to learn from her older cousin, Theodor. 

Jacob Stuart Burg is Theodor's only younger brother. Jacob and Naura often work together to make the Burg family look more relaxed and less stressful. Many things sometimes make the Burg family look gloomy, so they are always the arbiters and creators of the atmosphere in the family. Jacob likes music, especially singing. Another case is that Naura likes playing the piano. Jacob even really wants to join a singer-idol group that is so loved by young people today. However, his father refused and asked him to join the company immediately. 

The Burg family was one of the most respected families in the world, with a lot of wealth thanks to Gilbert's hard work. As he was getting old, he was soon preparing to pass on all his wealth to one of his family, either his children or his grandchildren. Gilbert is still the Chairman. He still controls the company even from home. He has many spies to keep a close eye on the actions of his children, his son-in-law, and even his grandchildren. Gilbert hopes

that his legacy will fall into the right hands.
