When Lavi returned to Faika, Aryan was already waiting for him. In their absence, Aryan was tasked with handling the affairs of the state alongside Charles. There were a lot of disgruntled voices around Lavi’s crowning but Aryan and Charles quelled it all by rooting out all of Morales’ supporters. The remaining Black Jack members were also rounded up and a public trial was held for all to witness. In the trial, all of Morales’ misdeeds were revealed and Moira’s truth was also exposed. The public was shocked but the evidence was too overwhelming. All her magic was exposed, leaving nothing but shock and hatred for the deceased Empress. Lavi instantly went to work. In the following weeks, he barely had any time to spare. He had the treasonous officials executed, worked on fixing the public funds, and improving relations with other countries. The negative opinions are starting to shift but not fully gone so Lavi decides not to have a lavish coronation. Instead, he opts for a simple crown
Hello everyone! Thank you for your patience with this book. I know I was lax in updates (I'm so sorry ;-;) but this is the end of this book. I hope you guys enjoyed Lavi-Anna and Dmitri-Roseanne's journey so far. I'm planning to write one book on Damien-Nine in the near future because their story seemed interesting and that there are a lot of things to explore in it. I will probably publish it after I'm done with all my ongoing books so that you guys don't have to wait for slow updates. I'll spend a lot of time plotting it so that it can be a better story than the rest. Please do support my other works here! It'll be amazing to see your feedback. Thanks again for the support! Love Tea tae
The night is filled with a deafening silence which surrounds the sleeping city of Pir. Unlike the hot daytime, the city of deserts is bone chillingly cold and quiet. The stone houses are also quiet as the residents sleep inside it. Except for the occasional cries of an insect, nothing else can be heard.CREAK!A caravan strolls through the town, breaking the silence of the night. The caravan is a lavish one made of fine wood and silk cloth. It is being driven by a few horses which have an emblem on their reins: twin wolves with crimson eyes and a quarter moon above them.Inside the caravan is a young man in his late twenties. He is lazily flipping through a book, looking very bored. The small candle lit inside the caravan highlights his unearthly features which is enough to even bring the gods to shame.
Her long dark hair falls around them and his addictive mint scent hits her. His lips press against hers, soft and surprisingly tender but she bites him. She is barely in her early twenties with an innocent demeanor but her aura exudes death.Lavi does not let her go, holding her still in that position. He tries not to lose his mind over her essence but it is hard not to notice. Unlike the other women he beds, she is tougher and ferocious. The girl fights against the attraction from the mate bond and punches him hard. Lavi staggers back but does not let her move. Using his strength, he keeps her captive on his lap, their faces only inches away now.Her snowy skin is slightly red with a small mole on her nose. Under the candle lights, her hair is silky and shining while her rosy lips are smeared with his b
The whole palace is under surveillance by Lavi and his men. Omegas are scared for their lives because the Prince had reportedly not slept all night. In the past, several assassins tried to kill him but the Prince managed to kill them all but he let this one live.Everyone is dreading the Prince’s next actions. Lavi is at the breakfast table, his mind obsessing over the girl whom they caught last night. Her sweet smell is not leaving him and his urge to claim her is only growing. Last night, he was not injured and yet, several marks appeared on his body. A shoeprint is etched on his neck at the exact spot where the girl was stepped on. All night, he thrashed around his room, breaking things out of anger. His body and mind were at odds. His body wants her. His mind hates her.
A few miles away from the city of Pir stands a magnificent castle perched on the rocky slopes which look over the entire city. It is distinctly far away from the capital in the isolated area, high above the realms of the ordinary people. There are rumors that gods themselves used to reside in that castle once but after they had fallen, the Lycans took over their home. The towers are of rectangular shape with smaller turrets on them. A flag containing the twin wolves’ emblem of the Faikan royal family stands on one of the turrets, signifying their dominance over the country.Inside the castle, the walls are decorated with shining golden and blue tapestry. The floors are sleek and spotless to the point people can see their faces in them. Chandeliers are hung high above in the ceiling, shimmering brightly while the long corridors are spacious and well
Lavi’s eyes are closed and he is sitting crossed legged in the middle of the garden. He is concentrating hard, his posture straight. His shirtless torso is visible under the scorching sun. Beads of sweat roll down his skin, his abs glistening in the light. The bulging muscles are tense as if rigid and still. The breeze slowly swirls around him in a fixed rhythm. He slightly turns his head to the right and the wind blows in that direction. Then he tilts to the left, taking the wind in the opposite route. A gentle whirlwind of wind starts to form in front of him, spinning like a small tornado but fixed to one place. He is about to multiply the intensity of the win when the familiar scent of cocoa comes his way. Suddenly, the wind stops and vanishes, leaving him there. Even though she is far away, he can still smell her.
“Is she alright?”She can hear a soft voice, perhaps a girl. Anna stirs and slowly opens her eyes to find herself in an alien chamber. The face of a pretty girl in her mid twenties appears in front of her. The girl has short cropped ginger hair with sharp features and small freckles on her nose. She is not so tall but there is an elegant vibe swirling around her. Anna also notices that the girl is wearing a tiara with the emblem of the Costas. This must be Guinevere Costa, she realizes.Guinevere is studying the slender dark haired girl with interest. Next to her is an elderly man in his seventies with snowy white hair. He is wearing a long, white coat which means that he is the castle’s healer.“I am terribly sorry!” Guinevere tells h
