Chapter 05

Granny Pricilla suddenly laughed.  "Hahaha. Does it matter to you if Alice is with other rich men? What does that have to do with you? You've only been a useless husband all along!"

"If it weren't for my senile husband betrothing my granddaughter to trash like you, I wouldn't want to accept you as my family's son-in-law!"

Haven was silent, he thought that if he said that, Pricilla's grandmother would take he side for hers granddaughter's mistakes.  However, it turned out that the old woman still defended hers grandson even though her was guilty.

"Wow, what's this commotion?" Grandma Pricilla Lee's eldest grandson, Marvel Lee, smiling with his arms crossed, he walked up to his grandmother. He had just returned from a fancy restaurant for dinner and was spending some money with his friends.

"Hey you really went home too? I thought you left town because you were scared of Brother Garfield Blackton" Marvel Lee asked.

"Marvel, what are you talking about?"  Callysta asked in surprise.

"Don't Aunt Callysta know? Just now, this trash hit Brother Garfield in the head with a bottle of wine. Brother Garfield is now in the hospital!" replied Marvel Lee.

"What?" Granny Pricilla shouted, she then turned to Haven while pointing at Haven with hers finger. “You are a beast that bestows misfortune! What is in your brain that you dare to injure young master Garfield? Damn it, don't get my family into big trouble because of your stupidity!”

"Grandma, that man has the audacity to ask my wife to get naked and make love in bed. I as hers husband certainly won't let that happen," said Haven trying to defend himself.

"Grandma, this is all your fault." Callysta pointed at the old woman in front of she.

Callysta is very frustrated with the current situation.  “Why did Grandpa Lee set my daughter up with this bajingan?  Can't you control Grandpa Lee?" she asked.

Pricilla's grandmother was getting angry because of Callysta's words.  "Shut up, Callysta! What right do you have to blame me?"

"Grandma, I don't blame you, but--"

"But what?"  screamed Priscilla's grandmother.

The situation heated up, until finally from the doorway, a beautiful woman with a sexy posture appeared who was none other than Alice Lee, Haven Clark's wife.

Alice ran towards her grandmother, she then bowed slightly in salute. "Grandma, I'm sorry. It's because of Haven Clark that I can't get a million dollars for our family company. 

"Haven has thrown away two million dollars I should have. Even Haven has the nerve to punch Garfield Blackton, Grandma," Alice continued, gesturing at Haven hatefully.

"T-two million dollars?" Pricilla's grandmother was surprised, she is the type of woman who is crazy about wealth.  He only needed a million dollars for the company, but Garfield was willing to give double.

"Yes, Grandma. The remaining one dollar is given free by Garfield as a token of him proposal to me in front of Grandma later," said Alice.

Grandmother Pricilla's blood was running up hers head. Hers body was trembling violently, hers already brittle teeth began chattering. Hers face darkened as he stared at Haven hatefully.

PLAKKK!!!

"Bajingan! You human with the brains of a beast! You really are just a man who brought bad luck to my family! Do you want my company to go bankrupt, huh?"  screamed Pricilla's grandmother.

"Hurry out of my house and divorce my grandson from this second!" Pricilla's grandmother's eyes bulged as if they were going to jump out of their lids.

"I don't want to!" Haven lowered his head.

"Bajingan! What do you mean?" snapped Grandma Pricilla with a bright red face.

"Grandma, you better calm down. We are worried that this may affect your health later," Marvel Lee, approached his grandmother and placed his hand on the old lady's shoulder.

Marvel's gaze was full of hatred and disgust towards Haven. "It seems that grandpa used to live under too much pressure, which made him have the wrong decision. I feel really sorry for my cousin, who has to live with a useless man."

Haven Clark suddenly smiled exasperatedly.

"Grandma, I just want to answer that it seems I don't want to continue this marriage relationship. Tomorrow morning I will come to the court office for a divorce at your grandson's request," Haven said firmly, even though his heart was broken.  He is still very much in love with Alice Lee.

At that time, suddenly a piece of paper in the envelope was thrown by Alice and hit Haven right in the face. "Good! This is indeed the time for me to live freely."

They are not aware of what they are doing.  If they realized and learned about the fact that Haven Clark was a billionaire as well as the strongest god of war, maybe they would all choose to stuff their mouths with animal dung, instead of having to deal with the people who rule the military world!

"Don't make excuses for not coming to court!" Granny Pricilla threatens before leaving with Marvel and Callysta. Then followed by Alice who was so sick of seeing Haven's face all her life.

Early morning in ChesterLand city....

News of the Lee family's granddaughter's divorce spread fast in the city of ChesterLand.  All the men from the elite families as well as the young businessmen were deeply shocked by this news.

For years they were forced to harbor love for Alice Lee who was rumored to have married a poor man. Alice Lee is famous for hers beauty and intelligence which is arguably the most perfect woman in ChesterLand City.

When they all started thinking about how to get Alice, they immediately had to think a thousand times after knowing if there was another man who had a relationship with Alice. That man is Garfield Blackton, nephew of CEO Garrick Blackton. The nephew of a charismatic man who has power in the city of ChesterLand.

No one dared to face the figure of CEO Garrick Blackton. If they dared, their business and life's destiny would be ruined, or even become a vagabond out there.

Haven was thrown away like trash whose existence had to be eradicated. Even Alice left him by driving a car with other members of the Lee family.

"Are you the only one who can live happily on top of my misery? I can even live freely now, it doesn't matter whether you live in misery and eat dog poop!" Alice said to Haven, before she got into the car with hers grandmother. "I'm sick of living three years with you!"

"I'm doing this because of Grandpa Lee. And I've loved you for the last three years," Haven said helplessly, looking at the black Mercy car in which Alice and Grandma Pricilla were traveling.

Suddenly, a phone call rang on his cell phone.

Haven looked at the small screen on his cellphone, without waiting long, he immediately picked it up.

"Hello, who?" Haven greeted in a lazy tone.

On the other side of the phone, a tall, tall man was wiping the cold sweat from his face.  His large body trembled violently when he heard the voice of someone who had a different aura.

"B--Brother Clark, I am Garrick Blackton, CEO of the Galaxi Company in the city of ChesterLand. Chairman Camela Wycliff has given me the task of finding out about the Lee family," Garrick said on the other side of the phone.

said Haven. "Can we meet now?"

"Brother Clark, tell me where are you now?" asked Garrick, "I'll take you to our little company."

"No need. I'll be there myself. I just happen to be not far from your company."  After saying that, Haven hung up the phone and walked towards the Galaxi Company.

Fifteen minutes later, Haven was standing in front of a skyscraper, which was about 17 stories high.

Haven stepped toward the entrance guarded by two men in corporate security uniforms.

"Stop right there!"  one of them shouted, then two company security guards blocked access at the entrance with their bodies.  "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
