Everyone was standing up to leave. I went back just in time. To my surprise as I turned to watch Luther leave, I came face to face with him whispering something in my fathers ear. My father had a serious expression on his face and after a few seconds Luther backed up. My father said something I couldn't make out just before Luther headed out. Something wasn't right and I would get to the bottom of it. I gathered my stuff and sat next to my dad. All I got was a simple glance from him before he went back to work. All he ever did was work and you could tell. He looked like a mortal right now with his untamed stubble and his shaggy hair that was growing out. Why did he look like that when it just took a snap of a finger to fix it. He always hated his shaggy hair but was too old fashion and wanted to do everything the natural way. "Is something wrong Sweetheart? You've been staring for awhile." He said glancing at me before getting right back to work. "Are you taking care
(Past memories) "Mazaya hurry up you've been fixing your hair for the last hour. The ceremony is about to start." The Goddess of wildlife said in a rush. I looked up to her freaking out like she always does. "Artema you worry to much. The wedding can't start without me. So how do I look?" I asked. She started to pull my arm. I wouldn't budge. I was not leaving this room until I was perfect. "You look like sunshine. Now hurry up and lets go." She said while trying to pull me with her. "Fine. I don't get why you are freaking out anyways. I should've asked Lili to help." I joked. "Yes I could see the headlines now. The beautiful Mazaya walked down the isle with a grass dress, that blew away with the first gust of wind." Artema snorted. I could only laugh because this was how it always was. They always threw harmless insults at each other. I loved them nomatter what. They were my only real friends. They never asked for anything so I knew it was genuine. "Luther is restl
Finally gaining my bearings after having to shake away that memory, I looked at the worker, who to my surprise was still talking. I zoned in on what she was saying. Or atleast I tried. That memory was still haunting me. But I would be fine. "Okay so your father wants us to do your make up and hair." She started grabbing me and taking me away to God knows where. To my dismay I followed. As she pulled me into a room, I came face to face with multiple Goddess's getting their hair and makeup done. It was beyond hectic in here. Workers were running around like their life depended on it. There was makeup everywhere and it was really hot in here. Probably from all the hair supplies. What baffled me, was that everything was being done by hand. No magic was being used in this room besides making sure none of the heat hit any of the Goddesses. I mean we were Gods, so why did we always have to do such mundane things. I guess I could see the fun in it but when you were on a time crunch
I could feel all of the anger consuming me. The power was humming out of control. My eyes dried instantly and than I felt nothing. Emptiness, all consuming emptiness. As I stood up and walked to my mirror, All that was in my head was the the click clack of my heels. As I got to the mirror still nothing. Looking at myself, all I could see was the void emptiness in my eyes. They weren't green anymore. Just a dark blue. My hair was glowing and it looked like blue flames. Nice. Before I could think I was teleporting back to the bridal shop. But this time there would be no happy ending. As soon as I got behind the Goddess of Destruction I pulled out a dagger and slit her throat. the shock in her eyes was short lived, as blood flowed down her chest. There would be no coming back from this. I guess Luther was good for something I thought as Twirling the dagger in my fingers. Screaming that's all
A few of his allies joined him. Bobby and Lucas were nowhere to be seen but that wasn't my concern since noone would be able to save them. The true God of Darkness stepped forward, Luthers father. "Mazaya you need to stop now you are outnumber." He said. The room was full of Gods and Goddesses. They were at a advantage because of space but I would change that. Using my magic I grabbed the God of darkness and teleported to open space. I threw him down. "Mazaya you need to relax, listen to me. We don't want to fight." He tried to reason with me. As I was about to make my move I was grabbed from behind. Roughly. "You've been a very bad Goddess and now it's time for your punishment." Luther whispered in my ear. Gods and Goddesses we're teleporting in the large space now. I looked around and they weren't just dark gods but light gods. When did they start working together. The God of Light came forward and He looked at me with determination in his eyes. "Mazaya you need to
I gasped. Trying to catch my bearings from that took a second. As my vision finally cleared and my heart rate slowed down a bit, I was able to see clearly. This was all wrong I thought as I looked at the stylist doing my still very red hair in the mirror. I looked over at the Goddess of Destruction who looked pale from whatever The Goddess of Death was whispering in her ear. This wasn't right. If that was a vision there's no way it changed drastically without my help. Where did the Goddess of Death even come from? I looked back over to noone sitting in the chair. She left. What was happening I was suppose to be in bed waking up or everything was suppose to happen the same way until I changed it. I looked at myself in the mirror. What just happened? I looked up to my dad smiling at me. Confusion covered my face. He furrowed his eyebrows while sitting in the empty seat next to me. "Are you not happy to see me sweetheart?" I looked at him and shook my head. I was beyond confuse
I took out the dagger and stabbed him again. It was like at that moment everyone got out of their daze. Gods were screaming and teleporting out. As I looked around I noticed most gods in attendance had left out. Luther used me being distracted to Grab my hair and pull my head back with all the force he could muster up. I had a tight hold on the dagger so that caused it to cut threw his back as I jerked backwards. I felt someones hand on my hand trying to pry my hand open. I would not let go of this dagger without a fight. The struggle between whoever was behind Luther was making the dagger cut him more. Luther let go of my hair as he grit his teeth from the pain. I was able to lift my head for just a second before Luther punched me in the mouth. That dazed me enough for my grip to loosen and for whoever was behind him to get ahold of the dagger. There was no scream, so that meant that whoever grabbed it was on the Dark high table Gods. This was bad. Now that the dagger was out
My father was furious. I blatantly disobeyed him and I didn't care. I was done playing games. This was my life and I would live it how I wanted to. I was instantly freed when I forced myself to catch on fire. He moved away fast, not wanting to catch on fire. I was about to attack when Luther came in front of me. I was caught off guard, so he had enough time to grab me and kiss me. I tried to push him away but his hold was tight. I started to feel my power start to cease-fire. That's when I realized my emotions were out of control. I felt the power slowly cooling down. How did I lose control without knowing. I relaxed in his hold. Not kissing him back but allowing him to kiss me. This is why I couldn't be around Luther he had to much power over me. I tried to lightly push him away after awhile but he wasn't having it. He tightened his hold on me. Only backing away when he was sure I wasn't going to lose it again. "I'll be taking her home with me. That's her punishment for b
