Chapter 1887

Frank's cold words were undoubtedly dousing fuel to the fire that was Governor Quill's rage.

He pointed at the gates and bellowed so thunderously it quaked the walls and left most of it crumbling. "Get out!"

"Farewell!" Frank snorted as he turned to leave without a care.

However, seeing that Frank was leaving unpunished, Rex—who wanted him dead—leapt up right then and bellowed, "Did you think you could just leave, after all the atrocity you've committed in our house?!"

"Let him go!" Governor Quill bellowed.

Rex was left flinching, and he reluctantly backed down.

Still, there was no hiding the glee he felt inside—it was not the most ideal outcome, but he would happily take it.

From now on, and as long as Saul had yet to recover, all Rex had to do was think of something to eliminate Governor Quill.

After all, with no one else in the family having the right to compete for the governor position, it was now as good as his!
