I sighed, massaging my temples, trying to calm my racing thoughts. "I will find you, Kiera. I promise," I whispered to myself, steeling my resolve to bring her home safely. "I will not rest until you are back in my arms."

I sighed again, thinking of all the possible places that guy could be hiding her. As I closed my eyes, memories of Kiera's smile flooded my mind.

"Jason…." I heard her voice mumbling in her mind as a smiling face flashed before me.

"Kiera, where are you?" I mumbled as if asking her in my mind to guide me to her location.

She smiled at my words as I felt her put her hand in mine, leading me toward the answer I had been searching for all along. "I am close to you, Jason. Always watching over you." Her voice was soft and reassuring, giving me hope that I would find her soon.

With a renewed sense of determination, I opened my eyes and began to search for her with a newfound sense of purpose.
