The girl moans under me as I continue to thrash in her. Letting out my heat.

 

Her body squirms under me, asking for more. And I give it to her.

 

Her manicured fingers moving up to trail my chest, when I held her wrist and pin them above her head.

 

Her eyes widen, to get more turned on by it.

 

My wolf literally speaking in his Alpha voice. Not liking her disrespect.

 

"Don't forget the rules girl"

Her back aches, begging for more. As she pleads. Too high in ecstasy to come down without getting anything in return.

 

"Forgive me Alpha... please continue-"

 

These bitch** are all like this. They can do anything for it.

 

I was going to continue, when a mindlink interrupts me.

 

Emergency Alpha! The council calls for a meeting urgently!

 

My younger brother and also my Beta ,Arthur says and I groan in irritation. These meetings! They don't leave me in peace for a minute I swear.

Moving back from Paige,I pick up my discarded shirt. To only have her hold my collar, stopping me.

 

"Alpha please...I said I am sorry!"

 

"Get out Paige. I have to go for a meeting."

 

I say coldly.

And she bites her lip to lower her head, bowing.  Picking up her clothes she was going to leave.To only lean over and place a featherly kiss on my cheeks to whisper seductively.

 

"We will continue this later Alpha.."

 

My mind was pre occupied with thinking about the latest meeting as I button up my shirt.

I hope it's not that same issue again. 

I am tired of hearing it again and again.

 

Freshening up, I adjust my tuxedo next. To come out. To only find Austin standing there. Looking at his watch.

 

"We are late brother"

 

Walking beside. I ignore his comment to walk towards our car, waiting at the entrance.

 

"Were you with that girl again?"

 

I look up at him with a raised brow. My eyes narrowed.

 

"And that's your business because?"

 

"Oh come on bro! I understand you are a male wolf and you have your needs! But seriously, you have a mate somewhere. Waiting for you, why would you do this to her!"

 

I look at him in irritation. What is with him and this topic. 

 

"I am 28 Austin. I don't think the girl will be waiting for me. Plus I have more important things to do."

 

He just stares at me. And I feel bothered by it. His next words, burning something inside me.

 

"It's because of that girl. Isn't it. You don't believe in love anymo-"

 

"Austin! "

 

I literally roar. Unable to stop myself. To only have him go silent. His eyes lower immediately. I feel his aura changing. He was hurt by my tone. I rarely scold him.

 

But I don't know. Whenever her topic comes forward. I can't stop myself.

 

I hate her so damn much.

She conspired against her own people, against us to get my father killed.

And I will never forgive her.

But when I see her innocent beautiful brown eyes in my dreams.

 

Her teary eyes begging me to believe her? 

I loose it.

I want to punish her myself. To ask her why she did it?

Wasn't my love enough?

Why she betrayed?

 

She got punished for her sins. There was no next time, no goodbyes, no hope. Nothing.

 

I did pardon her from the death sentence that day because I couldn't see her die in front of my eyes. But after being gone a rogue.

 

I can't even imagine her dying after getting used by those rogues.

 

Her used ruined body laying somewhere....dead.

She wasn't even my mate. Why do I feel like this! It's too painful, the image alone makes each and every hair on my skin to stand up.

 

I wish things hadn't been this way.

 

I wish I still had her beside me, as a best friend, as a lover that she was.

That she hadn't betrayed me.

 

Austin and I  don't say anything after it. Sitting in the moving car in silence.As we approach the Royal court.

 

It's better if it stayed this way, because once a tree is cut. It won't grow ,no matter how much water one gives it.

 

She is my past and it's better if it stayed like this.

It's been 10 years now,and I guess Arthur is right.

 

I need to move on from her.

"This menace has to end Alpha! Our treasuries are getting drained!"

 

"I swear if I get my hands on this their leader! I will kill him!"

 

A man exclaims, getting up and shouting. To only make elders to ask him to settle down.

 

"Calm down. We are working to catch their leader-"

 

"Viper is impossible to catch! Why don't you council members admit!He doesn't have a scent! He has never been touched let alone seen! These rogues works in perfect synchronisation and their plans never have a flaw. Never!"

 

"How will we catch them!"

 

The elders look at each other. To only ask the guards to seetle the man in the crowd shouting.

 

To only turn their attention back to all the Alpha's of the packs.

 

"Our inside sources say, Redmoon pack is the next target."

 

"Alpha Mateo. Will you like to take this case in your hands?

 

Mat, was just witnessing the judgements in silence till now.

 

His thoughts lost somewhere else.

 

Austin has managed to scrap the wound that was stitched without getting treated. The wounds that are only capable to be infected in future.

 

The image of Eirene getting banished in this very court in front of his eyes, flashes in front of his eyes.

 

Making him clench his fist.

 

"Alpha Mateo?"

 

"Huh?"

 

He comes out of his thoughts, to only straighten his back.Drawing his attention back to the issue in hand.

 

"You being the strongest pack in the world. Are our last hope."

 

"The rogues plan to attack your territory next. What do you say?"

 

The elders ask in anticipation. While Mat looks around at everyone.

 

"Viper again?"

 

"Indeed Alpha"

 

The council members nod. And Mat sighs. Ready for this.

 

"We are ready to rebound elders. Viper won't escape this time."

 

There is silence in the hall room. As they hear Alpha Mat speak the impossible. But again, the man is not to be under estimated.

 

He was the strongest of all the Alpha's. The most brutal and inhuman one. With his hatred for rogues, knowing no limits.

 

His pack the biggest and strongest in the world.

 

The very idea of rogues planning to attack his territory next,already sounded like a suicide mission to some.

 

As the famous sayings ragarding the Redmoon pack was known everywhere.

 

"The lands where the rivers turned red in blood."

 

The territory has witnessed, one of the most brutal wars in history.And some even feared stepping into the lands.

 

Except these rogues.

 

"Great! It's decided then! All the packs and council members are with you Alpha Mateo."

 

"We offer you the funds, men and all the help needed in this mission."

 

Mateo barely nods,to only see the eyes of people in the crowd filled with hope. They get up to support Mateo.

 

As it's been almost half a decade,since this menace started. And after few failed attempts. No Alpha dared to take such a difficult mission in their hands.

"Long live Alpha King! Long live Alpha King!"

 

The crowd starts cheering. To only have Mateo to nod at them. And look down at the images placed on his table.

 

It was a charge sheet of Viper, with all recorded crimes till date.

 

Clenching the paper in his fists, he promises to himself

 

"I am coming for you Viper."

"It's time I put an end to you."

 

With determination in his mind and hatred for the rogues burning inside. He thought he could do the impossible.

 

If only he knew, who Viper was.

 

If only he knew moving on in life was never that easy, especially when destiny considered one's past karma yet to be reaped.
