“What’s your name?” I asked the employee.

“Kacie.” She replied.

“Well, Kacie. I’m not sure what your issue is, but it must be hard to be so rude to someone you’ve never even met. So, congratulations on your achievement. I know your parents must be so proud.” I smirked.

Kacie’s eyes widened and I could hear a few customers whispering to each other.

“Now, I don’t expect anyone to fall at my feet when I walk by, but I do expect to be treated with the basic respect or at the very least, with common courtesy, just like anyone else would expect when they wish to patronize an establishment, or to just simply EXIST.” I rebuked.

“Now, will that be a problem for you?” I demanded.

“I-I’m sorry. What can I get started for you?” Kacie whimpered.
