41: More Confusion

Emily POV

“What do you mean?” Easton asked.

“I was a kid again and I heard my parents arguing in the middle of the night. Daddy was yelling at mama about not hurting some “her” and mama said she didn’t belong there. Then daddy said that’s his daughter and that mama had done enough damage with her potion.” I rushed out.

“A potion?” He mumbled with confusion.

“That’s what I said. And he said something to her about she said she’d be my mother so she needed to be my mother.” I trailed off as a thought occurred to me.

‘Kyra, do you remember that?’ I asked my wolf.

‘I don’t remember very much from before you turned 4, honestly.’ She answered.

“So, how old were you in the dream and why do you think it was a memory?” Easton inquired.

“I tried to talk to Kyra and it was like she wasn’t even there. She doesn’t really remember anything from before I was 4, and the bedding was what I had when I was really young, before I even started school. And Mary came in my room at the end.
