It wasn't her birthday.

Upon Cassandra frowning at him, her lower lip puckered out in wordless grief, Zayn quickly embraces her and soothes her mind with sweet nothings. "I don't want to be a host to someone else... please!"

Cassandra holds his arm to cry. She didn't want to cry alone as well.

"Shush... I'm sorry. But, let me celebrate your birthday. Wait here." Saying, Zayn slides and jumps fearlessly on the grass below. The home was only a few feet above the ground, with only one storey bearing 5 of the 6 Johnson siblings.
