Chapter 83

Megan had healed up very fast, and she was already locked up in a confinement room. Alpha Drake specifically ordered that she should not be kept in the dungeon.

She sat crumpled against the wall, with her hands bound with chains. The room was dark, and there were pieces of nails all over the place to restrict her movement.

The iron door opened noisily and Beta Hogan walked in, accompanied by a guard, who turned on the light.

Megan immediately shut her eyes and grimaced in pain, as the light rays were painful because she had not seen brightness in days.

"Megan." Beta Hogan called.

"You are here to pity me, right? Please go away I don't need your fake compassion." Megan said, with her head bowed.

"I'm not here to pity you. I just wanted to tell you how much of a loser you are." Beta Hogan said.

"Thank you," Megan replied.

"Do you know what you have done? You may think this is small, but it's not. What made you so bold? Who gave you such audacity? Your crazy mother?" Beta Hogan asked.
