Jacobs

If only women could listen.

He had come home in time. What if he had not?

His head of security stood there with his head hung low as Jacobs asked him the same question.

He had almost twenty men here who were guarding the estate, and yet, Natalie had managed to reach the wall. There were almost 20 feet between the wall and the study window.

When Jacobs arrived and was told that she was in his study, he had followed her. He had seen her struggling to get on the wall.

“Give me the gun.” He had asked his man who had obeyed.

Jacobs had aimed it at her. The idea was only to warn her, but she shouldn’t have challenged him. “Watch me,” She had said.

What did she think? That she will escape? Even after he had seen her jumping off?

She really was a handful.

He had aimed perfectly. The bullet had grazed her flesh. It was not the wound which rendered her unconscious, but the shock.
