Anabelle Mixon — Damn persistent little insect.

I needed to be sure.

I rushed through the palace halls so fast I nearly twisted my ankle in these heels.

Some useless maid had let the news slip while gossiping. “A letter arrived. The Supreme Alpha is returning.” That was all. One whispered sentence, tossed carelessly to another servant… but it was enough to ignite fire in my veins.

Matthew... is coming back.

I felt a smile spread across my face, impossible to suppress. My hands were sweating inside my fine leather gloves, but my posture remained flawless. Tall, proud, perfect. Just as a true Luna should be.

When I reached the door to my father's study, I found exactly what I expected: counselors. Old men, full of titles but as weak as candles in the wind. All of them sitting there as if the world wasn’t about to change with Matthew’s return.

My smile vanished.

I straightened my shoulders, smoothed my dress, held my breath, and stepped in with the poise of a lady. With the authority of

Matthew Dawolf — I shouldn’t have come back so soon. The grinding of the carriage wheels slowing down against the wet ground felt like a warning. Outside, the winter chill bit at the world—but in here… the heat burning in my chest was almost unbearable. A war I hadn’t been able to escape since the moment I left the temple. My eyes were heavy. Not with physical exhaustion, but with thoughts. Unwanted... uncontrollable thoughts. "Alesha." Her name whispered through my mind like a curse. Why her, of all people? Why… her? The carriage came to a full stop. Outside, I heard guards moving into position, horses being restrained, the organized rhythm of boots hitting the ground. Welcoming sounds echoed from the inner courtyard. But I stayed still. I wasn’t ready to face anyone— Least of all her. Was she still here? Still working in the palace? I thought about standing up, wondering if it was worth seeing with my own eyes and risking losing control again. Maybe I s

Alesha Stokes – Step 4, 5? I’ve lost count... – Taming the beasts.I hugged Megan tightly, promising her I wouldn’t do anything reckless. But… I was lying. I wasn’t going to stand by anymore. Not after what that damn Annabelle did. Not after seeing my friend’s face bruised by the arrogance of a spoiled little princess. Sure, Megan would heal—but the pain and humiliation? Those scars ran deeper. And that alone was reason enough for revenge. She had to pay.Not just for Megan. But for every wounded servant, every bruised maid, every whispered threat in the hallways while she paraded around like some angelic lady, pretending she ruled the place.I went up to my room and changed. A clean, simple dress. No frills. Hair tied back. My necklace was secured tight, like armor. I stared at my reflection and held onto it—like I was embracing the stronger version of myself.I might look small... But they were going to see me.As I stepped into the hallway, I noticed the rush arou

Anabelle Mixon — NightmareThe world stopped. And I... froze. The entire ballroom seemed to go silent. Even the sound of my own heartbeat pounding in my ears vanished for a second. The only thing echoing now was the snap of my dignity being torn away — by his hand.By the hand of the man I loved… Matthew. He grabbed me. Hard. Angrily. Not like a childhood friend. Not like someone who once played beside me in the blooming gardens of the capital. He held me like I was a threat. Like I was... nothing. My gaze slowly climbed up the arm that gripped me until it reached his eyes — cold, confused. He looked away. He couldn’t even face me. Like he’d made a mistake. Like he hadn’t meant to do it.“Matthew...?” My voice came out in a trembling whisper, stripped of the firmness I’d worked so hard to build. I sounded like a little girl again. The same little girl who once hoped he’d notice her new dress. Who once hoped... he’d choose her.He let go of my arm. Raised

Edward Wood — Following the Rotten ScentI sent the letter to Matthew the moment I realized there was something rotten in that village. And still, I pressed on.Something told me I hadn’t seen the worst yet. The miserable facade was hiding old lies. That village… it wasn’t just neglected. It was ruled by fear. And maybe, digging for information about Alesha had led me to uncover something darker.I did what needed to be done. I pressed one of the gate guards with the edge of my sword against his throat. That was all it took. The filth started pouring out of his mouth. Bit by bit, they told me where the Alpha of the region was — and when his name was spoken, I understood exactly why everything was the way it was.Alex Madson. The bastard who sympathized with the fallen enemy of Matthew’s father — the former Supreme Alpha. I had sworn he’d disappeared, but I was wrong. Like any rat, he was just hiding. And from the looks of it, plotting something.I left with a few soldiers.

Alex Madson — The Dawn of a New EraThe door had barely closed behind Edward Wood when I could already taste the bitter tang of anger on my tongue. My eyes remained fixed on the spot where he’d stood for long, tense seconds, until my fingers curled around the arm of the chair with such force I nearly tore the leather. They’ve finally shown themselves. DaWolf’s hounds. At least now I knew how close they were.I walked to the window and stared down the road as it snaked between the gnarled, leafless trees, swallowed by winter’s mist. It was far too soon. I hadn’t expected the Empire to move so quickly—or so brazenly. But something had changed. Something had slipped through.“Damn it,” I whispered.Had someone in the village warned them? A traitor? Some fool hoping for salvation? It was possible… but, in a way, predictable. Alesha Stokes — A step in the right directionI stood there, frozen. The ballroom still buzzed with muffled whispers, the hurried footsteps of the servants, and the distant click of closing doors. But I… I still couldn’t move. Matthew DaWolf had defended me. In public. In front of everyone. In front of Anabelle! Something I never—even in my wildest dreams or most carefully laid plans—expected to happen so soon. But… what had come over him? Before he left like that, he had seemed different, as if he was fighting against his own actions—against his wolf. As if something inside him had awakened. His eyes weren’t the same. His scent wasn’t the same. It was like his wolf was breaking free, taking over everything. My skin still burned where his fingers had touched me. The letter still hovered in my memory, and I could almost feel its edges between my fingertips. His eyes, shining as he looked into mine… By the Goddess. And then, he simply walked away. Alesha Stokes — Among Beasts and HuntersI barely slept. I spent the entire night tossing and turning, running through every possible scenario in my head—everything I’d say or do when I finally came face to face with him again—alone. Every small gesture would be part of my plan. Every word he might say, every look we’d exchange. This was my moment. And when the sun finally broke over the horizon, I got up with the certainty that everything would change from that day forward. I put on my best servant’s uniform. Hair perfectly pinned back. The necklace Marilyn gave me was hidden in my hair bun, always tucked away. It was my charm of courage. A reminder of who I was doing this for—and why. For her. For the village. For me. I walked toward the Supreme Alpha’s hall with a strange kind of tension in my stomach—not fear, but anticipation. And luckily, there was no sign of Anabelle. I felt like I had already won. Like I was one step away from getting exactly what I wanted.

Michelle Morripin – The Lone Wolf Snow piled in my hair as I wandered through the black forest, each step sinking into the soaked ground. The cold was a constant reminder of everything I had lost. Everything that had been taken from me. My name was no longer spoken in Neveryth. I was nothing more than a shadow, a wolf without a pack, a mistake meant to be forgotten. When I was exiled years ago, I was too young to fight against the decrees of Glen J. Baker, the Alpha who ruled the region. I was only six years old, but he didn’t care. No one did. He accused me of my father’s sins, proclaiming his betrayal in front of everyone. The man who raised me, who taught me to hunt and fight, was branded a traitor and executed without the right to defend himself—right before my eyes, just like the rest of my family. I watched his lifeless eyes staring into the snow before I was dragged out of the village. Banishment wasn’t enough for them—they wanted me to suffer. Maybe Glen felt pity,

Matthew Dawolf — Prophecy or Curse?I'd been locked in this damn temple for days, surrounded by candles, chants, and people dressed in white who spoke like the world could end at any second. They said I needed to be “purified”.Purified?I was the Supreme Alpha.I didn’t need any of that bullshit.“A healing herb immersion in the sacred waters will help soothe your spirit, Your Majesty,” they said, sprinkling more of that sparkling powder into the water.“And soothing my spirit is supposed to stop my wolf from trying to take over my body?” I asked, staring down the priest with those pale eyes of his, like I could force the answer out of him.He just smiled. They *always* smiled—that same cursed, empty smile. These temple fanatics had no clue what it was like to live with a wolf caged inside your chest, ready to tear apart anything that moved.I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. Trying to focus. But here I was—half-submerged in water up to my chest, surrounded by flower petals,
