Selena's POVMy lids began to flicker as consciousness streamed back into me. Then I remembered everything that happened and how I got to be wherever I was now and I opened my eyes immediately before sitting up with a start.I was back in the room where Raymond had kept me before but this time, the huge windows opposite the bed were opened and the bright sunlight was streaming in.The brightness hurt my eyes and my head hurt too due to how fast I sat up and I figured it was because of the hit I got from Ava. Selena’s POVThe door opened and I quickly turned around to look and it was Raymond. He was still having a blank and indifferent look on his face and I could tell that he was obviously pissed at me.He dropped the clothing on the bed then he took a step back from me before he pointed at the clothes on the bed.“Those are the clothes that you wanted so badly,” he said while pointing at them and I didn't say a word to him as I picked them up from where he threw them then I looked at him, expecting him to get the hint and turn around or walk out of the room so I could dress up but he just looked back at me, not getting the message I was trying to pass through.“I need to dress up Raymond so you would have to look away or give me full privacy by leaving the room,” I told him, and still with a blank face, he turned around to walk out of the room but then he stopped and looked back at me.“Five minutes and I'm coming back in,” he said and with that, he walked out of the room.I made a face

Selena’s POVI took one last look around me to be sure no one saw me come in and when I didn't catch any sight of anyone watching from a corner or the silhouette of anybody in the dark, I sighed in relief because that was one step in getting Raymond out of the way down. All I had to do now was to find my way into the palace discreetly and get a silver knife while making sure no one would see me.Making sure my footsteps were silent, I dashed into the palace through the back passage and I made sure to watch for anyone’s presence in case I was to bump into anybody while making my way into the palace. The passage hadn't been used for years so there was a high possibility that I won't run into a single soul until I got to my destination but I didn't want to take any chances. Selena’s POVI took a strong stand as I held the knife tight in my hand while waiting for the guard to leave so I would seize the opportunity and end Raymond. If he was searching for me at the execution ground and didn't find me, then he was going to figure out soon that I was up to something and before he would get a hang of the situation and probably guess that I was in the palace, I had to do something quickly. There was a little stream of light coming through the little window that was up high in the wall though and I could tell from the moon light that it was already night and I wondered if Alpha had gone through with the plan.
