ALPHA DEREK'S POV After my encounter with Diamond, I could to think about him. It was a miracle that I escaped his mom the last time, but it wouldn't stop me from visiting him during his break period as I had promised. I planned out my day and scheduled the visit to Hilton school, by ten am the following day. I thought about him and my childhood life reflected in him. I wished things didn't go sour between Sally and me, we would have our baby by now. I badly wanted to be called daddy, and since the child was doing that for me, I would keep visiting him especially since I didn't have my child. Not only that I didn't have my kid, I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to carry my child, well except I would opt for an adoption. My heart wasn't ready to love yet, and I didn't see myself falling in love with any woman, anytime soon talk more of giving birth to a child. After Sally left, I promised myself that I was going to stay single, and I didn't mind if she was already married or n
SALLY'S POV "Daddy!" Diamond screamed again as he hugged Stephen tightly. Ralia and I only stared on I'm amazement, we wanted to see the drama that would unfold after he hug because it was the same Diamond that said he didn't want to talk to Stephen on the phone and didn't want to see him either that all excited and hugging him passionately. Whenever Diamond would act this way, Stephen and I asked him the secret. He would always boast that he had the magic to capture my son's heart. After hugging him for about five minutes, Diamond finally disengaged from the hug that seemed as if it was never going to end. "You owe me an apology Dad", Diamond said, crossing his arms under his breast. "My son", Stephen called as he lowered himself into a squatting position, so it would ensure a smooth and clear conversation between Diamond and himself. He exchanged glances with me before turning to face Diamond again. "You know I don't do this on purpose, I would never skip coming to pick
ALPHA DEREK'S POV Diamond made me visit his school more often than even his parents did. To the extent, it now seemed as if I decided to take a break from my pack because of him. I wanted badly to meet one of the parents of the kid, so I could tell them how connected I felt with their son. Anytime his other mom would come to pick him up, I would get an important call from my hotel or from old friends who were in the community and wanted to see me. "Desmond!" Diamond screamed excitedly and jumped on me. They had just dismissed from school, and I was there about twenty minutes before the last bell rang. I had made up my mind that I was going to meet with his parents today, whether they liked it or not. If they wished, they should only come to pick him up after three hours. I was ready to wait. I held Diamond's hand and the both of us began strolling towards my car while gisting and giggling. "Do you know how to do the antelope dance?" Diamond asked me. "No, do you mind teaching me
AUTHOR'S POV "Why didn't you come with my second mommy?" Diamond asked Stephen during their drive home. He was too carried away earlier, that he was only just noticing that Ralia didn't come with his dad to pick him up. "She was involved in a very small kitchen accident, your mom has gone to stay with her at the hospital, so we are all alone in the house for tonight", Stephen replied. Diamond felt bad about the news, his mom was in some kind of danger. At least he could remember vividly what he was taught in school about accidents, and he knew it wasn't a good thing. "Will my mom be fine?" Diamond asked Stephen. "Of course, she will. Your mom will be perfectly okay, and impact tomorrow you will be able to visit her at the hospital", Stephen assured him. Diamond and Stephen got back home, they had dropped by the restaurant to pick up dinner since Stephen would be too busy to cook for them that night. They finished eating, played a few games, and went to bed. Diamond couldn't slee
ALPHA DEREK'S POV I walked out of my bath and noticed my phone had been ringing. I picked it up and stared at the screen to see seven missed calls from Diamond's school. My heart skipped immediately, and I hoped nothing bad had happened to him. I called the school back to ask about his will and they informed me that he wasn't in school and his parentparent'sr was unreachable. The only person her phone was ringing was his other mom and she wasn't picking up their calls. "What is the way forward? I hope the kid is safe. Has this occurred before?" I asked the security who had called me. "Not at all, the kid is very punctual. He is always the first to come to school, and would also come to school on Saturdays and Sundays if classes were fixed, he had never missed his classes for once", the gatekeeper replied. "What do we do right now? Do you have his address?" I asked him. "Yes, I do. I have it. The school sent a few staff to his house already", the gatekeeper replied. "Please tex
ALPHA DEREK'S POV Diamond was lying down in a very pitiful condition, with Stephen seated beside him and acting as if he would die the next minute because Diamond couldn't make it. "Daddy!" Diamond screamed excitedly, as he jerked up from the bed, ran towards me, and hugged me tightly. "Diamond, are you fine?" I asked as I carried him up, and we both walked towards the bed. "You lied to me", Diamond said. I helped him sit on the bed, then turned to face Stephen. "Good day", I greeted him, he shook my hand and nodded. "I am so sorry I couldn't take permission from you before coming, I just got re_" "It's fine. Seems like you are my son's medicine because five minutes ago he was acting as if though he would die soon", Stephen cut in. I bent down in front of Diamond, held his both hands, and sighed. "I am sorry, I would have called your school so I would speak to you. I was sick yesterday, and was placed on drip so I couldn't come out", I lied. "Apology accepted bro", Diamon
SALLY'S POV Diamond's situation was getting a bit tense. I hoped it wouldn't get any worse. He was too young to be able to hide his werewolf blood, and it would be revealed that he wasn't human if he should be taken to the hospital. After birthing Diamond, I did everything possible to make sure he avoided the hospital like a plague. I felt him healthy, and since he was still too young to be able to shift or manifest any kind of powers, well, except he was in great danger. I did my part as well by keeping him from anything that would make him shift at this very young age. I would teach and train him later, by then he would be old enough to handle everything and would be able to hide his scent, and wolf blood. But as for now, I had to protect him with all my power and might. I decided to loosen up a little bit because Stephen complained about me being too tight and strict with the innocent kid. I didn't want people to start getting suspicious, so I had no choice but to listen. I got
AUTHOR'S POV Alpha Derek has been invited to the mansion by the family the following day, which was Saturday. Ralia would be discharged from the hospital, and the whole family wanted to see and thank him for all that he had been and done for their son. They thought they owed him a very big appreciation and prepared a banquet inviting him over to come to have dinner with them. The whole house was scented nicely, and chefs from the restaurant were invited over to the house to support in preparing the banquet. Alpha Derek, on his end, decided to shave his beard all over because he wanted to look younger and smart, to impress the family. Diamond was busy running around the house and grinning from ear to ear. He was super excited that his new dad would get to meet his mummies and they would also get to meet him. He hoped that his new dad would like his second mommy they could start a relationship, or better still even get married. The food was taking a longer period to get cooked, Sall
