SALLY'S POV I paced around my room, my heart beating continuously like a running cheater, I prayed so much that Lisa would not get into the worse trouble. Sarah was crazy and I couldn't stop her from carrying out the plan even though I so badly wanted to, I just hoped somehow it won't back fire, and Sarah would not get into trouble instead with alpha Derek, because Eben I would not be able to save her. Truly I had forgiven Lisa and decided to let go of the past, then allow her attend the occasion if the plan B didn't work out, but then how Sarah was over stubborn and wasn't ready to let go for any reason, according to her people would only get forgiven after they have asked for forgiveness and Lisa had no repentance and she had no plans to die. I had warned Sarah about getting caught, and she said she was sure of one thing, Lisa would die by alpha Derek's hand before she did, and she would laugh out really loud at Lisa's corpse before joining her happily, then the war would continue
ALPHA DEREK'S POV The dirty slap I gave Lisa had hit the wrong place, so she fell to the floor and passed out immediately. I lowered myself to her and raised her right hand to feel her pulse, I was a bit relieved because Lisa was still alive. My anger towards her was beginning to die down gradually, I began to think outside the box, and Lisa would not get herself in trouble on purpose, especially not after I had warned her the last time. She would not repeat the same mistake twice. It would only happen if she was a fool. But then, why did she open the door so excited my even without knocking? I picked up my phone and called the nurse to come over and take Lisa to the sick bay and check her. The nurse arrived in a short while, together with one of the servants, who would help her carry Lisa. Immediately I heard a knock on my door, I knew she was the one, so I lifted Lisa and carried her outside of my room, my instincts were right and the nurse was standing behind my door with a m
SALLY'S POV "I thought you bolted the door, Sarah?" I whispered to Sarah, and she nodded, I could hear her heartbeat, and I was sure that she could hear mine. Two guards badged into the room, and I feared that we had been caught, I feared that alpha Derek now knew and had sent his guards to get Sally. One of the guards heaved a big sigh of relief on sighting us, and I wondered what the catch was, his reaction marveled and I tried to figure out why he reacted that way, on seeing Sarah and me. "Did you forget how to knock?" I barked at him as I tried to hide my nervousness. "I am very sorry, I thought you both were in some kind of trouble, we knocked for minutes and there was no response, and alpha Derek had sent us to deliver a very important message, he would kill us if we wasted his time", one of the guards apologized and I exchanged glances with Sarah. I and Sarah had been lost in the conversation that we didn't hear them knock they must have tried to open the door gently and w
SALLY'S POV I and Alpha Derek kept walking down into the building hands locked together, my eyes kept moving around, I was trying to find Alpha Lucas. I checked around for alpha Lucas, there were about two hundred alphas in the hall, yet I was searching for just one alpha. Even until now, I haven't given up on alpha Lucas, the love I felt for him was still the same as before, my heart was pounding as we kept walking. "Here", alpha Derek said pointing to a U-turn, in a part of the hall. I turned around and started following behind him, as we kept walking, I would turn my head to look at the alpha's gathered in the opposite direction, just to see if alpha Derek would be there, but he wasn't. I was getting frustrated, alpha Derek and I were led to the VIP seat facing the other alphas. I sat beside alpha Derek while Sarah was offered a seat beside us. Alpha Derek was smiling gracefully and I wondered what was funny... Nothing was funny to me at the moment, I kept checking around for al
SALLY'S POVEverything was a waste after all, alpha Lucas who was the only reason I decided to attend the so called occasion wasn't in attendance. I couldn't stop thinking about him and hoped he was okay. For alpha Lucas not to attend the occasion and no one even bothered or cared about it. My mind was troubled for the rest of my stay there, even when the elders of the council of the night walking creatures and supernatural beings had finished talking, and alpha Derek decided to address the other alphas I didn't bother to pay attention to what he had to say. After alpha Derek's speech, refreshments were served and everyone got busy except me who was still busy searching for alpha Lucas. I knew it for a fact that alpha Lucas wasn't there, yet I didn't want to accept it.I kept on looking around the whole place but yet he wasn't there... I prayed silently in my heart, that the whole rubbish will come to an end so that I can go back to my room and sleep out my sorrow. Crying was now old
CALPHA DEREK'S POVI dropped my hand and looked at Sally surprisingly, I wondered why she was trying to save Lisa, the same Lisa which she hates so much, the same Lisa who even tried to hurt her twice in my presence and I didn't stop her. The same Lisa who insulted and looked down on her, that same Lisa she is trying to save right now."Who asked you to speak? Who said you can interrupt me?" I barked at Sally as I began walking towards her."Please don't hurt Lisa, I beg of you", she pleaded as she went on her knees. I felt like chopping off her head, but the love I have for her as my mate would not just let me hurt her."What is your reason?" I asked Sally. She was definitely up to some kind of mischieve because why would she even want to save Lisa, she has no business saving her."Please, just spare her life for my sake", Sally pleaded further."You're putting up a challenge to me then, we'd strike a super deal. Give me reasons why I should spare her life and I promise you on my la

ALPHA DEREK'S POV I sat in my chamber, waiting patiently for Lisa to arrive, I had asked the messenger to go get her. I knew one thing for a fact, she would never agree to come to my chamber or room, without being sure whether I had truly sent for her. I was trying to swallow all my anger towards her, I didn't want to pour out too much on her, I had already hurt her enough. In no time the door to my chamber made a slight noise, it was a knock from outside, so I asked that whoever it was that was knocking come in. The door opened gently and my messenger walked in, Lisa following behind him. Her head was bowed, and her both hands folded behind her back, she was trying to avoid eye contact with me. Lisa stopped exactly in front of the day, she didn't want to go any further. "Come in", I ordered her, trying not to sound too harsh on the poor thing. She walked into the room, her legs were shaking and her hands were not left out, the sight in front of me was ridiculous but I wasn't in
