Announcing the Alpha

Soon, they arrived at the counsel and they all stepped out of the car - it was 8:00am then. They walked into the conference room, the leader was still resting in her room but Maya talked to some of the elders that she urgently needed to see the leader and one of them went in to call her. Few minutes later which seems like ages to Amber, the elder and the leader emerged from the room and he helped her sit.

"What is it you want to see me for?" The leader asked in a harsh tone.

"I want to apologize for what happened yesterday and I've also come here to tell you who the Alpha is" Maya responded and all eyes concentrated on her.

"Who is it?" The leader asked in curiosity.

"You? Prove it to us!" The leader retorted as if something was not right.
