Two days later

Amber woke up to the beeping sound of her phone, she stretched her hands on the table and grabbed the phone and answered it without looking at the caller.

"Hello!" She grumbled inaudibly.

"Hey, babe. Why are you sounding like an elephant?" Adrian teased on the other end.

Amber's eyes widened and she stared at the phone, it was really Adrian and she sat up and cleared her throat.

"What do you mean by that? I was just tired from last night's work. Why are you calling this early? And I thought you wanted to end things with me" she said as she pouted her lips like a baby.

"Yeah, I wanted to end things with you but I realized how much I love you so I have to do what is needed"

"So we are back together?"

"Yes! And I would like us to meet later in the evening.......... at my place" He swallowed hard before completing the sentence.

"I don't know if that would be possible but I would try my best" she said and Liza grunted due to the sound.

"Okay then!"
