Lucy was shocked. She was about to turn away when the clown called out to her, “It’s me, Lucy!”

The man took off his clown mask while speaking and revealed his face.

It was a handsome face but one that had arrogance and eccentricity written all over it.

Lucy was astonished. “It’s you, Hunter Lynch!”

“Yes, it’s me.”

Hunter smiled. There was a fanatic look in his eyes when he looked at Lucy.

He had liked her for a long time and had been trying to court her.

However, Lucy had never made time for him.

Lucy did not expect Hunter to be here, and she did not miss the adoration in his eyes.

Hunter was a Lynch. The Lynches were powerful, and it satisfied her pride to know that such a man was interested in her.

Unfortunately, she could not reciprocate his feelings.

It was because her heart had room only for Mason.

It suddenly dawned on Lucy. “Were you the one who took Eva’s kid?”

“Yeah, it was me.”

Hunter did not deny it. There was a chilling look in his eyes as he said condescendi
