Nathan smiled when he saw Eva’s reaction.

“Got it.”

He slowly put on his clothes, which had been put out at the side. Eva had her back facing him, and her face was burning.

Even though she was not looking, she could hear the rustling of his clothes. She could not help thinking of how he looked with this skin exposed.

She thought, 'Stop thinking about it!'

Eva shook her head hard. She was relieved to hear Nathan’s familiar voice call out, “I’m done.”

His voice was a little softer than usual. “You should come to bed.”

Eva nodded. When she turned to look at him, he was back to normal.

She suddenly remembered about Eugene.

Would Nathan help if he knew about this?

Should she talk to him about this?

The look in Eva’s eyes dimmed, and she quietly went to bed.

It was a peaceful night.

As she listened to Nathan’s stable breathing, Eva tossed and turned in bed. It was the first time she found it difficult to go to sleep.

The next morning, it was already 11 by the time Eva woke up.
