Eva frowned when she saw the cold expression on Nathan’s face.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. Let’s eat.”

He put a piece of rib onto Eva’s plate and gave one rib each to the children too.

The family of four continued having their dinner.

Eva brought Mia to Elite Kindergarten early the next morning while Nathan brought Max to the club.

Felix and Carlton were already waiting outside the door.

They quickly approached Max when they saw him get out of the car.

Carlton held Max’s hand.

“Let’s go train, Max. Mr. Hopper has arranged for us to use the latest equipment today, but we have to get it customized to our heights. How about coming with me to try it out first?”

Max followed him obediently while nodding gently. He turned back to look at Nathan and said goodbye.

“Remember to pick me up later, Daddy.”
