Chapter 96: Getting the Council

I kicked the door open without knocking. I wanted to make an entrance and gain everyone's attention, and that is exactly what I did.

All heads turned towards me. I grinned mischievously making my way towards them. Each of them watched me with skeptical looks.

I sat down on the chair reserved for their leader. He was running a little bit late so I know he wouldn't mind. Even if he were to arrive right now, he should take a seat at the far corner of the table. I'm sure that is where he belonged.

I placed my bow and arrow on the table.

Turning to Jason's father, I waved at him enthusiastically. He averted his sight, clearing his throat.

I smirked at his discomfort. The only reason why I was with these backstabbing bastards was to bring chaos upon their heads. If they wanted to play a dirty game, then I could also do the same.

Jake won't be able to do that, so I am helping him out. I'm sure he would thank me later.
