Chapter 107: A house of secrets

Something was definitely wrong with Alianna and Xavier. They were indirectly throwing shades at each other which was so weird. I have never seen Alianna talk back to anyone before. This was the first time.

It was really shocking that of all the people, it had to be Xavier. I thought they were civil with each other. Why would they be antagonistic with each other? Xavier was the one who made Alianna my handmaid, so why would he get rid of her when he was the one who recommended her in the first place? It was through him that I became friends with Alianna and I was happy for that.

I felt as if I was kept in the dark constantly. No one ever told me what was going on in this house. I didn't even feel like a Luna. I felt like a fraud. Xavier may love me but I get the feeling that he didn't trust me enough to share some secrets with me.

Jayden was loyal to his Alpha. He always had a limit of what to say to me, but somehow the story of Aliann@a passing out in the hallway did not si
