That little brat had the audacity to smirk directly in my face. What was going on? She was looking so arrogant. I have never felt so insulted in my life, not even when our Alpha Jake came here with his unreasonable demand and mate entitlement that I hand over Kira to him. I found his arrogance very amusing but with Alianna, I found hers to be very insulting.

I have known her for years now. I knew her as a quiet person, but now she was showing her true colors. To me, it was as if she was indirectly telling me that I could not harm her. The arrogance on her face said it all as she said those words. They were still imprinted in my head.

It wouldn't leave me. Her taunting voice was as if they whispering in my ears. I wanted to kill her more than anything else but I knew that if I did anything to her now, Jayden would point accusing fingers at me and he would tell Kira too.
