The soft glow of the moon filtered through the cracks in the stone walls, casting long shadows across the room where Aynur’s newly awakened form lay in silence. Kalias stood at the edge of the room, torn between a flood of conflicting emotions. She had promised to restore his crown, to make him whole again, and yet... something about the Goddess’s words haunted him.

How would she fix what was broken? How could she restore his kingdom when the people who once followed him were now dead or, worse, had betrayed him? His thoughts drifted to Hera, the woman who had shattered his life. He clenched his fists, the old rage surfacing like a wave ready to crash against everything in its path.

As if sensing his turmoil, Aynur stirred. Her silver eyes fluttered open, their cold brilliance piercing the darkness. She regarded him for a long moment, a strange mixture of sorrow and something he couldn’t quite place. Pity?

“Your mind is restless,” she observed quietly, her voice soft yet carrying the

Kalias stood at the edge of the dark forest, the towering trees casting long shadows over the path ahead. The weight of his decision lingered, heavy in his chest. To move forward, to reclaim his throne, meant confronting not only Hera and Kirill but also the past he had tried to bury deep within himself.Aynur walked beside him, her ethereal presence like a cold breeze against his skin. She had promised him the truth, the full story of what had led to his downfall. But part of him feared that truth. What if he wasn’t ready for it?“You hesitate,” Aynur’s voice came softly, pulling him from his thoughts. Her eyes glowed like twin moons as she studied his face.Kalias clenched his fists, his jaw tight. “I’m not afraid of the truth, Goddess. I just don’t see how knowing it will help me reclaim what was taken.”“The truth will set you free,” she said, a small smile playing on her lips. “Your enemy is not just Hera. It never has been.”Kalias scoffed, his wolf-like eyes narrowing. “You kee

Blood. There was blood everywhere.Amazonita’s eyes stared at his face with a frightened expression and Kalias just smiled without any emotion being expressed on his face. A macabre smile, almost lifeless."I finally found you," he said."You are the goddess of the moon," he said and the sound of bones being broken beneath the feet of that absurdly tall man, made the black-haired girl shrink against the wall where she had been thrown. “And now you will be mine".Those were the only words that were addressed to Alice. The only thing that was said to her before something hit her neck and her eyes opened in a dark room inside an abandoned castle. There were no doors, there was no light. Just a window, a large bed with canopy and of course, the moonlight that made it possible for her - to see.In the corner of the dark room, there were two big eyes lurking.“Who the hell are you?” The girl was the first to speak, the body shrunk, the arms embracing her own body as if that was enough to pr

The night seemed eternal, the darkness took over that place and if you looked out the window, all you could see were trees and more trees. Giant trees everywhere, pine trees with a strong odor in a dark soil, as dark as the sky of that damn place. As soon as the monster that kidnapped her disappeared from her window, she got to thinking.Alice did not know many things, but she knew that she was no longer in the mortal realm, in the realm of humans. No.She was somewhere else, she was in the shadow, in the realm of werewolves; but even though she wasn’t too dumb to understand that, she was there - hanging from the window, stretching her arms towards the first tree that looked close to that damn tower."Just a little more..." she said to herself and with a leap of faith, she threw herself towards the wood. The skin of her hands was cruelly torn by the texture of the wood, but not even the burning made her question her actions. She’d walk out of there.A leap between the leaves that look

"You can only be dumb, there is no other reason to that" Renriel said without even blinking, the golden eyes as liquid gold seemed to wander the place, the scarce and almost non-existent decoration of that abandoned castle in the confines of the black forest."I found her, why exactly are you calling me dumb? I don’t remember any other having met the moon goddess, not before me "Kalias let go with pride in his words and a discrete look."Puff" Renriel blew "you have to conquer the girl, you imbecile. How do you intend to do that when you treat her like garbage?"Kalias' opaque eyes narrowed."She’s a human" he tried to retort."No, asshole" Renriel stood up while saying "she’s your future fucking queen, the lady who will sit next to you on the throne"Kalias' body has hardened."I will be by his side" a sweet voice had told him many years ago "I will sit by his side and be his queen," but as all that was sweet, that voice was lying."I don’t need a queen" he said feeling his whole bod

Aynur was still human, Kalias remembered a little too late, since now the girl’s body was cold as a marble stone, frozen by the breath of death."Do not dare" he repeated almost like a mantra, the long, almost skeletal fingers touching that thin, now pale face of the girl."Shit! Shit!" he would repeat and repeat while removing his own clothes, because maybe... well, maybe there was still a way.The cursed waters enveloped their bodies, now both naked - Kalias’s arms held Aynur so close to him that he could hear the weak heartbeat of the girl."Survive" he practically ordered and his fingers slipped through the black strands of the girl´s hair, letting the water pass, walk there and take from the body, hair, face - every measly sign of the dry blood left over them.A low grunt escaped through Aynur’s rosy lips, her arms weak and pale, completely scratched - wrapping around Kalias' marked neck."Don’t leave me..." she said "please don’t leave me this time..." her lips trembled, her eye

The fabric looked like Micah against her naked skin, the icy wind somehow no longer bothered her, but in the memory of Alice - only fragments of that massacre remained, fragments of the expression of contempt that the monster that attacked everyone had on his face.It was cold - she could remember. It was cold to the point that she thought she would freeze there, that her heart would finally stop as the blood dried on her hair, on her clothes; after all, as much as Kalias possessed certain knowledge - he had no idea of how fragile humans really were.So how could he imagine that a mere icy night invading that girl’s room - would make her the next thing to be buried in the yard?Alice’s face became crimson as if it had been bathed in a red ink, her hands grasping the warm and thick dullness that had been thrown over her body in an attempt to sink there; it was cold - she remembered and then there were arms grabbing her, hot lips that kissed yours and a feeling... a sense of completenes

For Kalias, who had waited so long for his revenge, the things he felt were contradictory; the loyalty that seemed to well up in his chest and the gentle way the Goddess's eyes rested on him—but the fallen one had decided that he would not be shaken, nor would he forget his purpose."How will you... change what has already happened?" he asked when he met Aynur the next day. His eyes were filled with doubts, especially... if there was still a part of the human he had kidnapped, or if now, only the Goddess resided in that body."I will not change something that has already happened, but I will make you return to where you belong," the goddess simply spoke, her eyes fixed on Kalias, as her lips curved, "my dear Alpha... don't you think I have truly abandoned you, do you?""If you haven't abandoned me, then how did I end up like this? How did you allow me to be as I am?"The Goddess sighed."There are many things to be seen, Kalias, and in the end? Mortal eyes are not capable of reaching

It was to be expected by any being with even a minimal capacity for thinking - the Lord of the Vampires would not be pleased to see his special place invaded by Kalias and the Goddess. But when the door opened, and Renriel came face to face with both of them on the floor, his face contorted in a grimace of contempt and resentment."You shouldn't be here," he said as he forcefully closed the door and ordered servants to "guide" the two to another room.It didn't take long for Kalias to find him in his office, his face bearing an expression the wolf was initially unfamiliar with."You shouldn't have done that," Renriel said with a severe tone of voice - a seriousness that Kalias hadn't heard in centuries."I didn't know where else to take her. I thought there would be no harm considering she's the Goddess," the werewolf tried to say, but the vampire's eyes dilated even further with anger."You had no right to take her there.""Renriel...""No." The vampire growled. "You know...""Yes...

When the eyes of the Goddess opened again, she faced a face full of expectations and fear – the troubled face of Kalias."Aynur…," he called her as if he feared she wouldn't respond, and in the mind of the poor creature with platinum hair, a flood of memories and sensations emerged. It was as if thousands of lives were united. Thousands of phenomena enveloped her in an endless ocean."Ah...," the Goddess grumbled. "My head hurts."Kalias' eyebrows furrowed in confusion - after all, it was not common for a goddess to feel pain, but with a sigh, the platinum-haired one stood up."Tell me, Kalias...," she began. "Did something go wrong?" Her starry eyes stared at the old wolf king. The platinum-haired one raised his eyes to hers."Alice?" He called, and that was the first time the lips had spoken the human name of the white wolf. It was the first time he confirmed her existence, life, and the life he took from her."So you always knew my name...," she laughed bitterly. "I thought you did

Alice's body floated, and from the shadows, Kalias could sense the nine priests chanting the ancient songs, begging the goddess herself to forgive them for their sins - because it was no longer just a prophecy, no longer an uncommon belief - when the moon illuminated Aynur's face, that small, frail human body began to transform.Skin as pale as the moon's face, eyes deep like a white star, and hair with silver, smooth and thin hair as if about to dissipate into thin air.The one who floated was no longer the lost and completely human shell he had ripped from the mortal world. No, the one who was Aynur, the goddess who could restore to him his throne, his home, his pack, and most importantly: his power."Return to us, my goddess!" the priestess called, and Aynur's eyes opened, the air became dense, and Kalias could feel his bones freezing as the stellar pair of eyes turned towards him and fixed on his pale face."So you've finally found me, my dear." Her tone was low, concise, and eleg

When night fell on the border between the three kingdoms, the blood moon rose among the dark clouds, and a part of Alice trembled, remembering that it was the moon that Kalias had been waiting for so long. She had heard the maids discussing the preparations for the ritual she would have to go through - just as she had felt something change in her chest. At that moment, it was undeniable that Kalias was right and that something inside Alice was much more than human. After all, tears were not usually able to heal."Madam?" The red-haired maid whom Alice discovered to be called Janne called to her. "Your bath is ready."The girl's body rose with some fear, and with an almost rehearsed smile, she stood up from where she was sitting."Ah..." she said, clearing her throat. "Thank you.""Don't be anxious, my lady," the redhead said, helping her undress. "This will be a beautiful night. After all, it is a night blessed by the goddess.""A blessed night..." Those words seemed familiar - but al

That night, Alice was in the company of two unexpectedly pleasant creatures. It was so pleasant that, for a moment, she forgot that those two were responsible for much of her misfortune.Alice discovered that Kalias could laugh while talking to another being, that he looked beautiful when his hair was stuck and laid aside on his shoulder, and, especially -, that he seemed careful since the incident in the forest. She wondered if she was not going crazy or if Renriel’s nonsense had infected her thoughts as she changed and adorned herself in that luxurious room. After all..., every day that went by in that world so different from her -Alice seemed closer to forgetting what had happened that night. The night she was taken by Kalias. At that moment, while Renriel drank fresh blood from his bowl and Kalias cut his rare steak, Alice realized that not even this bothered her.
