132. Missing

LEO POV

"It's nothing. Go back to sleep," I replied. I had not been myself after the revelation. It was a hard nut to crack, a bitter pill that I could not swallow. I had pondered over the issue and I deduced that my father had been hinting about it for a while. He had always mentioned his empire which was non-existent to me until I met Dane. I wanted to rectify it all and I was done being nice.

"It can't be nothing. You're wearing an all black outfit. We've been together for months already so I can tell that your dress isn't ordinary," she said.

"Don't worry and just go to sleep. I'll be back soon," I replied.

"But it's too early. You can go wherever you want to go when the day's brighter," she said.

I sniffed then climbed onto the bed and held her shoulders. "I'll be back before you know it. I just have some loose ends to fix," I said, then stood up from the bed and made my way to the door. As I was about to turn the knob, she dropped questions that stopped me dead in my tracks.
