Jethro merely tilted his head without any change in his expression.

A big question hangs above Snow’s head, not understanding what Oliver was saying. For a moment, she became oblivious of the pain on her neck. She tried to look at the person holding her, intensifying the cut on her neck.

Oliver took a step forward, while Jethro took one backward. They kept doing that until the back of Jethro’s knees touched the low table.

“I’ll give you her number right now. Let go of her, alright?”

Jethro stared right at Oliver, a snicker slowly forming on his lips, “I asked for Queen Fae’s number, not the Fox Princess’. Don’t make me look stupid.”

Oliver ignored what he said and continued.

“No, you really asked me for Snow’s number. You even begged me on your knees, don’t you remember that?”

“I didn’t ask for her number!”

Jethro gritted his teeth and only pressed the sharp edge of glass on Snow’s neck.
