Damien POV:

The moon cast a soft luminescence through the windows of my chamber as night enveloped the estate in its mysterious embrace. I found myself alone with Lily, the air thick with anticipation. She moved with deliberate sensuality, each step a tantalizing dance as she slowly shed her clothes, revealing her body to me with a sultry gaze. Her eyes sparkled with mischief, and her lips curved in a seductive smile.

Lily approached me, her hips swaying gently, her fingers trailing down her supple stomach. With a boldness that ignited a spark within me, she reached between her legs, teasing and inviting. Her breath quickened, and her chest rose and fell with the rhythm of her desire.

But something within me felt askew, like a discordant note in an otherwise harmonious melody. I should have been consumed by desire, my body responding to her every move. Yet, I felt strangely detached, my body unresponsive to her blatant advances.

Lily noticed my lack of reaction and frowned, confusion clouding her eyes. She took my hand, placing it on her thigh, and then guided it lower, toward her most intimate place. Her skin was soft and warm, but still, I felt nothing. I pulled her into a kiss, my lips moving against hers, but my body remained numb, unyielding.

Lily pulled back, her eyes searching mine. "Damien, what's wrong? Don't you want me?" Her voice was laced with a mixture of concern and growing frustration.

I shook my head, my frustration mounting. "I don't understand, Lily. I feel nothing. It's as if my body has turned against me." I ran a hand through my hair, my eyes darting around the room, searching for answers.

Lily's eyes flashed with determination, and she stepped closer, pressing her body against mine. "Maybe I can help you relax." Her hands roamed my chest, her touch gentle and enticing. She kissed my neck, her breath hot against my skin, whispering seductive words that should have ignited a fire within me.

But still, nothing. My body remained stubbornly unaffected, my penis limp against my thigh. Lily's confusion turned to annoyance, and then anger. "What is wrong with you, Damien? Am I not enough? Do you not find me desirable?" She stepped back, her eyes narrowing, her hands on her hips.

I stood there, equally baffled and frustrated. "I don't know, Lily. I feel nothing. It's as if my body has shut down." I clenched my fists, my frustration manifesting as anger. "Is it something I ate? Some strange illness?"

Lily's eyes filled with tears as she realized the depth of my indifference. She slid down onto the bed, her hands moving frantically over her own body, desperate to spark a reaction from me. "Am I not enough, Damien? Is there someone else you crave?" Her voice broke, and she collapsed onto the bed, sobbing, her body heaving with uncontrollable emotion.

A pang of guilt twisted my insides, but it quickly transformed into anger. I took a step toward her, my voice sharp and commanding. "Get out, Lily! This isn't working, and I need to be alone. Leave me!"

Lily refused to move, her eyes pleading with me. "Please, Damien, let me try something else. Maybe a different approach will—"

I cut her off, my voice harsh and unwavering. "I said get out!" I roared, my eyes flashing with a mix of frustration and growing anger. "This is not your fault, nor is it mine. Something is amiss, and I need to be alone to process this."

She scurried to gather her clothes, her eyes downcast, her body language conveying her hurt and confusion. Finally, she fled my chamber, leaving me alone with my turbulent thoughts and a body that had seemingly betrayed me.

I stood there, stunned and afraid, my mind racing with questions. Was I becoming impotent? Had Lily's blatant seduction failed to arouse me? Was there something wrong with me physically?

And then, like a bolt of lightning, a realization struck me. Amia. The memory of her flashed through my mind, and with it, a surge of desire coursed through my veins. My breath quickened, and I grew hard, my body finally responding to the stimulus it had denied for so long.

"Amia," I whispered, my eyes narrowing. "It has to be her doing. She must have cast some sort of spell, a curse, to make me unable to desire another."

A cold fury washed over me, and I swore under my breath, my eyes glinting with determination. "Amia, you cunning, manipulative witch. You've played a dangerous game, and now you will pay the price."

A sinister smile curved my lips as I began to plot my revenge. I would make her regret the day she dared to meddle with my desires, to try and control the future Alpha. Amia had no idea who she was dealing with, and I intended to show her the true meaning of power.

I would find her, and when I did, I would make her suffer. I would strip away her magic, break her will, and ensure she never played with the hearts and minds of others again. My desire for revenge burned bright, fueling my every action from that moment forward.
