Xavier took care of me like mother hen, he refused to leave my side even for a minute except when he had to attend a very important and unavoidable call. I received many wishes from my staff, Sandra came to visit me in the morning. I felt blessed to have such loving and caring people apart from toxicity. I am still wondering who wants to kill me. Well, the list is very long and they all hate me with their guts but Xavier has firm belief that it’s Arthur and Addison’s doing.

“A got a call from my lawyer, he submitted a written application regarding our current situation and asked the court to give us some time and we managed to delay the final hearing until next week.” Xavier, who had been on the call with his lawyer for ten minutes, told me. He looked relieved.

“It’s great to hear but it doesn’t mean that you won’t be going to the office. Today is an exception but I’d not appreciate if you avoid your work, Xavier. Your father has infused his trust in you and I do not want
