“Can you explain me how my daughter-in-law was targeted, Xavier?” My Dad asked me in a flat tone, he was weak and barely talk but his tone was still firm. Adeline’s accident left a deep impact on his mind. He looked worried for the safety of his family.

“Dad, it’s Arthur’s doing. I have a plenty of proofs to frame him but I want to know your stand on this because, this time I won’t spare him. He has crossed the line I drew.” I said, my hatred for Arthur surfaced for the first time because he used to pick fights with me previously but this time, he took it very far.

“Is there anything else you want to tell me, Son? I have never seen this kind of hatred and fury in your eyes for your brother. Don’t worry, I have heard and endured worse in my long life. I have only a few weeks or months to live but I want to fix things in my family before I die because I want to die peacefully without any regret.” He said with folded hands and there was a serene calmness on his face.
