Just as Penny was about to agree, she saw another car stop beside her. The window rolled down to reveal Jeremy's face.

"Penny?"

"Mr. Tate?"

The trouble Caleb had brought Jeremy last time was not minor, but he did not gain much from it. After all, considering all the effort, it only led to a very brief conversation with Penny—so brief it was almost negligible.

Jeremy was internally pleased, but he had been wrapping up that matter recently. He thought he had seen wrong just now, but it turned out it really was Penny.

"I heard you're doing business with Mabel Mckenzie right now?"

"Yes, I've recently taken an interest in one of Ms. Mackenzie’s scripts."

"She has more than one good script. There's one she has always refused to sell, probably the one she's most satisfied with over the years."

Penny was instantly interested. "How do you know?"

"We had some deali
