Ryan's POV.

My eyes were fixed on the street as Kian drove me back home. My mind wasn't in the right state; it felt like everything was just scattered.

I couldn't even think straight, and the only thing on my mind was Diana. The fact that she was gone was still making me feel this way, which I couldn't even get to explain.

We got to the house in no time. I managed to come down from the car while I felt Kian's and Elena's gazes on me as I walked into the house.

Everything in the house reminded me of her, even the smell. My heart was really heavy as I walked through the house, and it felt like it was being pierced every single minute.

"Dad! What about mom?" Sophia's cute little innocent voice interrupted my thoughts. How could I even bring myself to tell her that mom was dead?

I turned back at her as I raised my head so high, trying to keep the tears from falling from my eyes. I let out a fake smile as I turned back at her.
