Chapter 79

Diana's POV.

I opened my eyes slowly, taking a look at my surroundings. Everything felt fuzzy and distant; it was so blurry that I could barely see the color of the walls.

I struggled to sit up, but I felt so weak. I felt a sharp pain in my head, making me wince in pain. I looked at my arm and also saw that I was covered in a bandage.

I glanced around the room, trying to take in every detail. I was in a room whose walls were a little bit creaky, and the door was barely standing. I saw a woman walking into the room with a tray that had a cup on it.

Who were they? I tried to ask, but my voice cracked and barely made a sound.

"You awake." The middle-aged woman walked up to me, placing the cup filled with water on the cabinet.

I tried sitting up again since the first trial was a failure.

The middle aged woman kept on staring at me as I struggled to sit up, can't she not help me or something? "Don't try to move too much," the lady stated. "You need to rest.""
