Creep

Chapter Nine.

Diana's POV.

"I'm Elsie. It's nice to meet you." She brought out her hand for a handshake.

I was still shocked by the fact that we had the same type of tattoo in the same spot. That was as creepy as hell!

"It's okay if you don't want to come into contact with a stranger." She brought back her hand in, making me feel guilty. I was just lost and confused.

She shouldn't see me as someone who didn't want to reply her or something like that.

"No! No, I'm Diana. It's nice to meet you. I'm also sorry for bumping into you." I apologized with a fake smile on my face.

"I have to attend to something now. We might get to see each other later." She walked past me.

How come we even smell similar? Woah! I got goosebumps just by thinking about it alone. What kind of coincidence was that?

I walked back to my office and started working on the things that I was supposed to work on. After a few minutes, I heard a knock right on my door and then revealed Linda, the lady who attended to me the other day.

The rude lady who brought a lot of work for me. I haven't been seeing her these days.

She had a pile of files right in her hands. I guess that was the punishment Ryan wanted to give me. I hissed loudly, making her chuckle.

She walked into my office completely, with Elsie right at her back. Elsie walked in, her eyes tracing the entire room.

She looked like she was so excited to work in this place. She looked so naive also.

"You should work on this and make sure to contact all the guests and invite them all to the upcoming launch event." Linda dropped some of the files on the table.

"You could have just used a phone, or something. We are in the technology era..."

"Tell that to Mr.Ryan" She cut in before I could get to complete my statement.

"Your boss might be a little bit old fashioned. He loves keeping documents both physical and online. Why am I explaining this to you?" She rolled her eyes, and then dropped the documents on my desk making a loud thud.

"You should also get to make sure the art are in place. You should get those arts, and make sure they are at the hotel before the guests arrive that day." She explained.

I love art! I guess that would only be the most exciting thing I would get to do.

"This is Elsie. She will be assisting us with the upcoming project. She would be staying in your office, so things will be easier for the both of you." Linda instructed.

"Alright then! Thank you very much." Those were the only words that came out of my mouth. Linda left the room leaving me together with Elsie.

She stared at the chair that was at my front, indicating only one thing.

"You can have me sit," I told her.

She walked to where the seat was and sat there immediately.

"Should I grab a coffee for you?" She looked right into my eyes.

"I had one already. Thank you very much." I wanted to bring up the topic of the tattoo.

"You got a nice tattoo there. We have a lot of things in common." I grinned so hard, even though it wasn't real. She looked at her hand and at mine.

"Oh my! I didn't even notice. What a coincidence!" She was also shocked to see the one that was right in my hands.

*********

I was sending the invites for the opening party of one of Ryan's hotels to the guests. That would be the first hotel he built right in this city.

He had a lot all over the country, and outside the country also. My daughter was already sleeping since it was so late.

Ryan was still at the company, since I left very early. If there was only a way for me to pay back for what he did to me this morning, I heard the sound of his car while thinking about ways for me to pay back for what he did to me this morning.

He walked into the house in no time; his suit was in his hand, and he was a little bit startled to see me in the living room. I bet he was not used to the fact that I was already living in his house.

He acted like I wasn't there, and he then walked past me.

"You know I didn't sign up for this? I came here as a representative of my husband's company. I didn't come here to do your personal work for you." I spoke out of anger.

He stopped walking, and he then looked at me with so much disgust on his face. He walked back up without even sparing me a glance anymore.

"I will make sure you regret what you have just done." I shouted on his way upstairs. I would wait for the perfect time for me to execute my plans!

Let's see who gets to work first tomorrow!

*The Next Day*

I looked at my time while I waited for Ryan to arrive. He was late today thanks to the fact that I punctured his tire.

That was the only way he could pay for what he did yesterday. I walked through the company's hallway.

"This would be the first time that he would come this late. Are you sure Mr. Ryan is okay?" I heard one of the workers say, which made me chuckle.

I bet he must have ruined the reputation he was trying to keep. I stood at the front of the elevator wanting to go grab some coffee. The elevator door ding from afar, and then saw Ryan coming out from his personal elevator!

He looked like he was going to eat someone up.

"How dare you!" He growled.
