The Kingdom of Abasia situated at the center of the Eastern region was very powerful and influential among other kingdoms ruled by a powerful king called King Ekepeyong Abasiama. The imperial king is also the chief warrior of the kingdom who has never been defeated in all the battles he fought for the great kingdom, Abasia.
The Abasia Kingdom had always been the last hope for people in various villages, towns, and nations. It is known to be the center of commercial activities.
The Abasia Kingdom is so big enough to be a nation. The Kingdom greatly contributed to the independence and development of many nations. The kingdom has thousands of soldiers who are so muscular and skillful.
On several occasions, Abasia Kingdom's warriors are sent to assist other nations in war. They had never been defective or lost any war in which they are involved.
The kingdom is known for some qualities that remain miraculous before the eyes of other nations.
Freedom is known as the absence of obstacles to the realization of desires. Freedom is the bedrock of a prosperous nation for without freedom, the shackles which hold from reaching for the impossible and exploring the unexplored remain.
People of Abasia Kingdom have the freedom to think, free to dream, free to explore, free to express, free to change, and even free to fail. They enjoy the freedom to choose and to be who they want to be without any restrictions and mandates from the authority.
They are not mandated to join forces or do things without their consent, In which the contrary is what is experienced in other regions, kingdoms and nations.
Freedom is known to have its risks but it has been mitigated by other values like justice, graciousness, morality, truthfulness, and many more. How that is maintained and sustained in the Abasia Kingdom remains miraculous to other kinds and nations.
Abasia Kingdom is known for its strong desire to ensure fairness and equality among the people, making sure that the rights of everyone are protected regardless.
New laws enacted and old laws amended or repealed in Abasia Kingdom are known to show a commitment to justice and meritocracy. The enforcement and interpretation of these laws do so impartially by unshackling the judiciary from any influence of the executive. The presence of justice in the kingdom brings about a sense of security in its citizenry, promoting what is right and deterring what is wrong.
A clear sense of morality that resides in the hearts of the people of Abasia Kingdom is of high level, guiding them like an inner compass as to what is right and wrong even when no one can see or know.
Abasia Kingdom is known to be a society that looks after the poor and needy without judging their status or why they are in that situation.
Both the King and every member of the nations have realized that helping the poor and needy is not just the right thing to do but is a reflection of the kind of people they are.
In Abasia Kingdom, a high value is placed on all life and no effort is spared to ensure that lives are preserved and extended. Regardless of ethnicity, religion, social status, and physiological condition, all lives would be equally valuable and not measured with money which makes the nation be referred to as "The Paradise".
People of the great Kingdom work with all their hearts and take pride in what they do. People would find dignity in their work and produce the best products and services. It is an excellence that is not motivated by fear of losing or the need to be numero uno, instead, it is motivated by a sense of self-achievement and recognition by consumers and recipients of our efforts.
King Ekepeyong Abasiama was loved by his chiefs, the queens, his children, the warriors, the servants, and every member of the great kingdom. His tenure has been peaceful and conflict-free with the neighboring kingdoms. The kingdom is self-sufficient and blessed with sustainable resources. He had three wives and six children. He was blessed with six beautiful and intelligent children but one of them was so exceptional and outstanding.
Princess Diana, the only daughter of King Ekepeyong and also the last child given birth to by Queen Sarah, the first queen and most loved queen by the King, was loved by the royal majesty King Ekepeyong.
His love for princess Diana was so magnificent that the King wished her to be the next king of Abasia, which is not possible because the Kingdom of Abasia can only be ruled by a male as dictated by the holy book of the land, The Kitaf. Princess Diana has a lot interconnected with the existence of the Kingdom of Abasia.
There is a scripture in the Holy book of Abasia kingdom, called The Kitaf, written by the ancestors of the Kingdom that says "In every century, a child will be given birth to in the night of Hitah, the child will be the savior of the Kingdom in as much the child stays within the walls of the great Kingdom."
The birth of Princess Diana really means a lot to the entirety of the kingdom. The celebration took place for a whole week. The whole week is referred to as the Kitah period as described by the Holy book of Abasia Kingdom. The Kitah period has been a period that every single individual has been waiting for to come to pass both the young and the old because it marks the beginning of greatness for the entire kingdom. No more drought, or famine in the kingdom, all their crops will yield in manifolds, victories in any war they ever engaged in, and no outbreak of any diseases in the kingdom for that century.
In the period between the death of King Afghana the Great, the great-grandfather of king Abasia, and before the birth of Princes Diana, something changed drastically. At first, it was just the subtle decrease in the flow of the Great river, the main source of water for the eastern region during the summer. Over time it became clear that something profound was happening. Some vast change in the weather was causing the rain in the distant mountain of Kihirah, the highest mountain in the nation located in the eastern region, to cease for much of the years. And so the rivers dwindled and dried up.
The people of Abasia Kingdom, to get themselves out of the calamity, created vast underground tunnels and aquifers, which would channel and store what little rain still fell in the distant mountain. The tunnel constructed made it possible for farming to continue in the kingdom. But each year the tunnel has sparser rains, fewer active streams, and less water coming from the mountains.
And so, one after another, farms fell into ruin, orchards withered, fields were abandoned, and fertile oases turned into barren land. The birth of Princess Diana on the night of Hitah marks the end of their suffering.
The first day of the Kitah period is the biggest holiday of the year. Even hard-bitten warriors took time off from training during the weeklong festival. Everyone dressed in their finest clothes and ate their most delicious food. The streets of Abasia were filled with color, and the city's fountain ran, just as they had in the old days.
During the week festive, the people of Abasia Kingdom forgot all their bitter experiences. The culmination of the festival was a great public ceremony in the center of the city. There were speeches and dances and singing by different social groups. Warriors paraded, showing off their skills and their finest uniforms.
Then finally, a huge vessel of water was hoisted above the crowd. A warrior took the ancient golden axe of Kitah and struck the vessel. It broke, dousing the crowd in water- symbolic of the new life for everyone in the Kingdom.
The ceremony lasted for a week. They all wine and dine together and the following week everyone was back to their normal life.
Abasia Kingdom's glory was restored, being known as the center of an immense and fertile plain. Every drought due to low rainfall in the entire nation vanished, and great rivers ( the main source of water for the east mostly during the dry season) ran through the land, irrigating the fields, and making the arid land boom with life again.I'm still surprised that she remembers me by my first name. She lets me pick the books that I want to, after we've returned the previous ones to their rightful places. When I'm done, she leads me back to her table, and make me sign on the record book once again, after re-writing my name, and the new date.Outside, I have three textbooks, all cramped to my chest. Damn, these are heavy even when they'd looked as though they would be light.I am about crossing the road when I heard, "Rash." It's a familiar voice. I turn to the person. Dean's grinning. He wears a black jacket on top, inner white shirt under and a blue jean. The sole of his canvas kinds of lit under the day light. "Hey." I say back, coolly."Um, what're you doing here?" Whilst saying, his eyes dart to the library's building, "oh, came here?""Yeah." Is all I say, staring into his eyes. I see they are green. They are so bright. The beauty runs in the family, don't you think?"Hey, what's up with you?" He notices.Well, h
"Rash!" Oh, boy. I hurry up and get a plain blue towel around my waist while there's another in my hands, being used to clean my face and torso. I get out of the bathroom and go to the closet. I put on a simple nylon black shirt, long enough that the hem stops around my thighs, and a khaki short. On the way, I slip into my flip-flops, getting down the stairs, I see aunt Melissa, giggling to the screen of her phone. She's Face-timing with someone, and really, I don't want to know who it is. When she catch my figure, walking to the couch, she quickly wraps it up and tells me. "So, what's the plan?" I shrug. She's placing her phone away, and concentrating on me. "I don't know." "You're a dickhead." She says. Well, I have a dickhead, the thought comes abruptly but I quickly shake it away. "What do you think...wait, where's granny?" "She's not around." Remember that I said she and granny never gets along. This is one of the obviousness that I mean. Granny is religious on her si
As Jacquard fainted, Jack couldn't believe his luck. He had always envied his brother's skills and successes, and now he had the chance to claim the glory for himself. He approached the unconscious form of his brother and the princess, carefully picking her up and cradling her in his arms. He looked down at her sleeping face, and couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. He had always wanted to prove himself to the kingdom, to show that he was just as capable as his brother, and this was his chance. “Yes! This is my perfect victory. That’s right… I win!” He exclaimed joyfully. Jack's heart leapt with fulfillment although he did his best to conceal it. He felt as though a heavy burden had been lifted off his shoulders, and the weight of his envy and resentment had been lifted away. The mission to rescue Princess Diana was a success, and he was the hero who saved her. It was all he had ever wanted, and now that he had it, he could barely contain his elation.
Jacquard started to panic as he realized how close the warriors were getting. He knew he had to think as fast as possible and come up with a plan that could at least put him on the higher ground of the table of turbulence. "What do I do now? It’s only getting more and more complicated!" Jacquard thought to himself, with a faint trace of fear. "I can't let them catch me with the princess. We’ll be done for." He said He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. "Think, Jacquard , think," he whispered to himself. "What can I do to get out of this situation?" Just at the moment when he was still thinking, the memories of the charm song his mother taught him flooded his mind. "Maybe that's it," he said to himself. "Maybe the charm song can help me get out of this." He started to hum the song softly, hoping it would have the same effect as it did the last time. But as he hummed, he noticed that the warriors were getting even closer. He needed to sing the song louder. He too
Jacquard continued running through the night with memories of his past flooding his mind. He remembered the times he spent with his family before they were left by him and his brother, by the proposal of the neighboring kingdom's soldiers. The pain of leaving his loved ones was too much to bear, but the thought of the princess's safety gave him the strength to keep moving. He thought back to the time he and his twin brother, Jacquard uard, went to their friend's farm. They had so much fun working and playing together, but a little argument over who should carry the most harvest nearly ruined their day. Jacquard wanted to carry more than his fair share, but Jacquard insisted on carrying an equal amount. Jacquard smiled as he continued remember how the words of Lucky had diffused the situation in a lucid illusion. They all ended up carrying an equal amount and left the farm with big smiles on their faces. It was moments like those that made him miss his family even more. The memories
As Jacquard thought back to that day, he smiled to himself, remembering the fun they had at the farm. He could almost smell the scent of the fresh crops and feel the warmth of the sun on his skin. But his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of rustling bushes nearby. He stopped in his tracks and listened carefully. “Shit!” He exclaimed. “What’s that? Oh my God I hope it’s not what I’m thinking?” He asked himself quietly in fear and trepidation. ”Is it the sound of Amah warriors approaching?” He continued to ruminate. He couldn't take any chances. He carefully placed Princess Princess Princess Diana on the ground and crouched down, ready to attack if need be. The sound of rustling bushes grew louder and louder, but to his surprise, it was just a small animal, a bunny for that matter, scurrying away. Jacquard breathed a sigh of relief and picked up the princess once more. “Such a drag. These animals sure can get one a really high blood pressure.” He said to himself, after wh
