Max's smile was as broad as if he had just been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize when he aimed the gun at Zion. Turning around, Zion's eyes fell on Sasha, who stood beside Max. Sasha had deceived them into thinking she wanted to assist Sky in escaping Max's clutches, only to lead them into an ambush. Zion's growl of frustration echoed his unease about Sasha's tale of escape, a story he had doubted yet reluctantly accepted, and now he faced yet another act of treachery.

Zion growled as Sasha, with a sorrowful expression, apologized, explaining she had no choice since Max was holding her children captive. In anger, Max shoved Sasha aside and fatally shot her. Jessica let out a scream, witnessing a dead body for the first time. Meanwhile, Marco, approaching from behind the house, charged at Max, disarming him. As they grappled on the ground, Zion seized the opportunity to aim the gun at Max.
