As the rest of the guests said their goodbyes and Alphas left with their enterages to return to their own pack lands, Simon quietly slipped away. He had managed to fly under anyone's radar for the entirety of the weekend's celebration. It had been a piece of cake really. Even without the enchantment spell that had hidden him from everyone, he was convinced that he could have pulled it off. Alpha Cullen had had his best sorceress cast the spell that made it appear that Simon, who was a Gama by birth, was an Omega and served a known Alpha at the gathering. However, once out of site of any werewolf that had encountered Simon, they would quickly forget ever having seen him. It was an ingenious plan and it had worked almost perfectly. Nothing of great interest to his own Alpha had occurred. There were feasts, a hunt, and the Long Mountain Pack's Alpha's daughter had found her mate. Alpha Cullen might be interested to know the names of the Alphas that attended the function and the packs th
Wren woke to the morning sun shining into the room. She stretched as her eyes fluttered open. There was a smile plastered to her face. Surprisingly she felt well rested. She and her mate had spent the rest of yesterday evening and most of the night making love and exploring each other's bodies. Smiling she turned to look at her mate sleeping peacefully beside her. She then glanced at the clock on the wall. It was almost seven. She new being an Alpha with responsibilities that Phelan would be waking up soon. He probably should have already been awake and gone for the day. She had gotten carried away with emotions the evening before and had not yet finished their conversation. She decided to go relieve herself and freshen up before her mate woke up. She had to finish their talk before his day began. She threw the comforter off of herself and carefully eased out of the bed. Then made her way to the bathroom and quietly closed the door behind her. After using the toilet she washed her h
Phelan raised up onto his elbows and looked at the bed beneath him in disbelief. Wren was gone. She was there and then... gone. She was just gone. His confusion turned to fear as he looked all around his bedroom. Wren was nowhere to be seen. He raised up on his knees and looked back down at the bed where she had been. His robe laid there in a heap. His fear grew and was accompanied by pure rage as reality set in. Somehow, someone had taken her. But how? He had been right there on top of her! His rage grew and began to consume him. His canines grew, his claws extended, and he threw his head back and let out a mighty roar that shook the walls of his penthouse. Immediately, the mindlink opened up and the voices of his pack members flooded his head with questions of concern. He roared again, before forcing the link closed with all of them except Matthew. He ordered Matthew to come at once to his penthouse. Phelan ordered his second in command to bring with him their best tracker and Mi
Phelan stood brooding at the door of his bedroom and watched as Micheal and Damien, his packs best tracker, scoured every inch of the room for clues or scents that did not belong. Every other pack member now knew that their Luna was missing. The entire ten thousand plus members were raring to attack whomever had been foolish enough to pull off such a stunt. Whoever they were, they would pay for their insolence. However, Phelan had forbid any other wolves entry to the penthouse. He didn't want to risk contaminating the scene. It irritated him that it was taking his men so long to deduce what had happened. It seemed like forever that Wren had been taken. Phelan knew that the longer it took for them to find any clues the more likely it would be that they may not find anything at all. This infuriated him. His wolf Lobo was fighting to come forward. He wanted to rip something or someone to shreds over the matter. Phelan knew he had to remain in control of himself to keep Lobo at bay.
⚠Warning graphic sexual violence⚠ Cullen was furious. How had the wretched vampire been so incompetent? He had sent her on a simple mission. All that she had needed to do was kill the future Luna of the Red River Pack. Her mission was as simple as any other she had been assigned countless times before. Not only had she failed to kill the mutt, she then allowed it to escape. Growling with anger and frustration, Cullen grabbed the side table up and smashed it on the floor before turning and heading over to his desk. He walked behind it and sat heavily into his chair. As he sat there with his eyes closed and rubbing his temples the sorceress sat across the room on the leather loveseat looking as though she could care less about the entire situation. Failure was something Cullen did not tolerate. This Kira would pay. He sat there waiting for her return. He had sent her and several others out into the world to look for and retrieve the young Luna. He was angry that she had not been kil
A cool, gentle breeze blew over the meadow and through the trees at the edge of the forest. The changing leaves danced magically in the wind. A shower of orange, red, yellow, and brown cascaded whimsically to the ground below. A hawk cried out over head as it flew over the meadow. It's sharp eye catching sight of a mouse as it scurried all around looking for a tidbit of food, caused it to turn and to coast upon the breeze. Suddenly, without any warning, it brought it's wings close to its side and dove at a seemingly impossible speed. Head first it hurdled towards the ground. Just before impact it suddenly spread it's wings and threw it's talons forward. The mouse never stood a chance. The poor thing never knew what hit it. It was dead before it could ever even begin to comprehend that it was in any danger. Picking up it's prey, the raptor flew effortlessly away, calling out to it's mate as it reached the tree line. There joined by it's partner they soared high into the evening sky call
It was very late by the time Wren reached the pack house. But dispite the late hour it appeared that every light was on inside of the four story mansion. The grounds outside were lit up as well. Pack members were rushing here and there setting up a stage and dancing area. Some were placing tables and setting out greenery. Others were streaming strands of lights all around the lawn. Wren had hoped to sneak in unnoticed. That was obviously out of the question. She quickly reached into the trunk at the tree line and grabbed a large shirt out of it to cover her naked body with. After doing so she quickly rushed through the busy wolves towards the back door. An omega girl looked up as she ran past and called out that Luna Freya was looking for her just as her mother's voice entered her head through the mind link."Wren, where are you? It's late and I need to speak with you about the party tomorrow. Meet me in your father's office at once, please." , her mother had said before closing the li
Five days before Wren's birthday. Phelan Mchughes rubbed his hands through his ebony locks as he looked at the invitation laying before him on his desk. It had been a very hectic day for him. Filled with meetings and plenty of aggravation. He just finished filling out the last of many forms for the day and had decided to open some of his personal mail before retiring for the evening. The invitation had been the last of the letters he had opened. He didn't personally know the Alpha of the Long Mountain pack or his daughter. He really had no interest in attending the celebration in her honor. For all he new She was just another spoiled brat looking to out shine her peers. He had no time or interest in entertaining such individuals. Phelan had almost tossed the invite into the trash as quickly as he had opened it. The Long Mountain Pack was a continent away from his Red River Pack lands. However, if he managed to recieve an invitation, then so too might his allies and possibly his enemie

Abigail had prepared for them a very delicious meal. They had a fresh chef salad with tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and iceburge lettuce. It was topped with croutons, diced ham, and a chopped boiled egg. There was garlic bread to go along with their chicken fettuccine Alfredo, everything was absolutely amazing. Abigail had truly out done herself. Although it was a pretty simple meal it was quite evident that Abigail was a very good cook. Wren took note and decided she would make it a point to thank Abigail later and ask her what kinds of food her mate liked. She wanted to be sure to prepare his meals the way he was accustomed to eating them. As the couple enjoyed their first meal together in silence, Wren's mind kept wondering back to the words her grandmother had said to her. She felt an urgency to talk with Phelan about it. And also to discuss her gift with him. She stressed over how he might react to what she had to say. She was amazed at how quickly she had fallen in love with this
Wren gathered her shredded clothes and stuffed them into her bag. She checked herself in the mirror above the mini fridge and wine cooler before grabbing her bag and joining Phelan at the door. He pulled her into his side and kissed her temple before inhaling her scent. It filled his lungs and brought forward all kinds of emotions. But at the same time it helped to center him. Calming his anxiety over what was to come. Phelan guided Wren through the door and off the private jet. They were greeted by his Beta and several fresh warriors. Phelan paused to introduce his second in command at the bottom of the stairs. "Wren this is my Beta and best friend since childhood, Matthew Lawson. Matthew this is my mate and your future Luna, Wren Mixon." Matthew bowed his head, exposing his neck to Wren in a show of submission and respect, as he welcomed her to the Red River Pack. Then he turned and opened the door for them to get into the limousine. Once inside Matthew began updating Ph
Warning ⚠️ Graphic Sexual Content⚠️ Phelan's men quickly loaded all of their bags on the pack's private jet as soon as they pulled up beside it in the air field. Phelan led Wren up the stairs and through the air craft to the private quarters at the back. There was a mini fridge with water and soda, beside that was a wine cooler. He motioned towards them and asked if she was thirsty. Wren shook her head no. So Phelan quickly led her to a couple of leather arm chairs and helped her into one of them. He then reached around her and grabbed both sides of the seat belt and buckled her in. The jets engines had already been fired up the moment they arrived and the craft was already barreling down the runway as Phelan took his seat beside her. Pretty soon the rushing greenery that was seen through the windows was replaced by blue sky and white clouds. Phelan stood and removed his coat and tie. Throwing them onto the bed in the tale of the jet. He turned to Wren and kissed her passionately, ta
Wren woke with a smile on her face and a knock at her bedroom door. Looking over at the door she was greeted by her mother's smiling face peaking into her room. Her mother stepped inside and closed the door behind her. "Wren dear, I thought you might want help packing for your trip. We have an hour until breakfast, can I help you gather your things?", Luna Freya asked as she walked over to Wren's bedside. Wren stretched and sat up. "Yes, I'd like that very much, mother. Although, I'm not sure what I can take with me." "I think we should just pack a couple of bags with your clothes and toiletries for you to take with you today. Anything else I can have shipped to you later." Wren nodded in response to what her mother had suggested. Then pulled her blanket back and got out of bed. After going to the bathroom, she brushed her hair and teeth, and dressed herself for the day.
