Chapter Twenty Three

Alyssa lowered her head and walked past a lady holding onto a young man.

Mason held Alyssa's hand stopping her from going any further.

“ I'm not invisible you know” Mason said pulling her back to stand at his front.

“ Huh? I didn't see anyone when I passed by just now. You're probably invisible” Alyssa retorted with a laugh.

Mason rolled his eyes at her and stepped backwards, studying her carefully.

“ Woah....I almost can't tell you were the one. You've become prettier in just few weeks”

“ She has always been pretty. You're just too blind to see it” Rose said pinching Mason's waist.

Alyssa smiled politely. She remembered Mason's cousin from three months ago.

“ Thanks for the compliment.”

“ Where's your partner? I don't think it's a wise decision to leave a beautiful woman like you alone in the presence of many guys.”

“ Didn't you say you wanted some deserts? Go ahead I will join you” Mason urged Rose giving her their secret signal.
