Chapter Twenty Nine

“ Let's eat. I made a lot for three of us but since Quinn is not available, we have to stuff ourselves” Tina giggled. Alyssa also managed to smile with much difficulty.

She could never understand how Tina always managed to act like everything is normal between them.

The silence in the dining room was deafening.

Both of them were lost in their thoughts.

While Tina was brooding over what had just transpired between Quinn and her, Alyssa was feeling guilty.

“ About that, sorry you had to see us that way. I must have made you ill at ease just like Quinn stated. Actually I can't recall the last time we had an argument but now, I guess due to circumstances, there will be many more to come’’

' By saying circumstances, is she referring to me?' Alyssa didn't feel like eating any longer. It wasn't a surprise she dropped her fork because no one would feel comfortable eating her husband's girlfriend's food.
